    First Cycle (Repost)

    I'm looking at doing my first cycle. Need to get some advice. Here are some details of my current stats.

    What does your diet look like? (Diet is the majority of any AAS cycle)
    About 60% Simple & Complex Carbs (no junk food)
    About 30% Protein (Mainly Lean Meat, Chicken, Tuna)
    About 10% Fats (Peanut Butter, Flaxseed oil, Olive Oil)

    Age:37
    Height: 5'10
    Weight: 190 lbs
    Body fat %? Unknown, however I do run lean. At the moment I'm just trying to put on more size.

    Measurements:

    Chest: 40"
    Arms: 15"
    Legs: 23"
    Waist: 32"

    How long have you been training?
    Powerlifting: 12 years ago
    Max Lifts: Bench: 285, Squat: 400 Deadlift: 580

    Currently I have been back in training seriously for the past 2 years.
    Since January 2006 I put on 24 pounds.

    Have you ever done a cycle before? No

    Knowledge of PCT?(Post Cycle Therapy)
    My basic knowledge centers around Clomid

    How did it work for you? Any bad side effects?

    What are your specific goals?
    Planning on getting myself into comps by May 2007. However there is a comp is September and October that I'm training for currently, to see how my body reacts to diet, dehydration, etc. To determine what I need to do for comp in 2007.


    Any help would be appreciated.

    First cycle advice........Test E or Cyp for 12 weeks at 500mgs/week proper diet, training and most important PCT

    Really just trying to get some advice. Seems there are varying opinions on what to use first cycle, especially with my age.

    It has been suggested to do 50mg Deca every other week.

    Your thoughts.

    Ok.. i had to re-read what you post.. Didn't realise that you were filling in the 'stats' question so regularly asked for.

    Are you ok with shooting gear daily? Cus honestly if i had to suggest a first cycle of one compound.. it'd be testosterone propionate... and that has a daily or every-other-day dosaing requirement.

    Failing that.. test-E would be your next best choice.

    50 mg Deca every other week would inadequate for any/every bodybuilding purpose... It wouldn't even scrape it for TRT/HRT

    So scrap that notion.

    Check out the steroid profile forum for drug dosing ..side effects and interactions.

    Also important would be to assess your own individual physiology.

    For example.. you've been training for 12 years.. have decent lean mass. If i were you I'd assess if i were prone to male pattern baldness.. or,at your age, if my prostate were normal or enlarged

    That would influence my choice of compounds; dosages and anxiallaries.

    Thanks for your response.

    Male pattern baldness does not run in our gene pool.

    As far as other tests, I'm having getting tested from Androgen levels, FSH, LH, Testosterone levels, LFT's, etc. To get a baseline.

    To answer the question about injecting, I don't have a problem with injecting. Would prefer that over tabs.

    I have consulted an MD regarding steroid usage and he suggested to consider more anabolics rather than andronergics.
