    bleeding after injections

i started my tren winny test cycle the other day and after my first shot in my left delt of tren and test (2ml) blood started to drip down my arm, i did everything right constant drip, aspirated the whole works, i already know how to to it because this is like my 5th cycle, i also just did another shot in my right delt just now and same thing happened with 1 ml of tren, is there anything i can do about it? oh and i was also using a 25g 1 inch pin for the injection, also is it possible to use a 5/8 inch needle for delts??

You probably nicked a vein. It's happened to me before. Nothing to worry about. I use 1" for delts and leave about 1/8" exposed just in case the needle would break off.

I can't agree. I have never had this happen to me nor have I ever heard anyone mention a needle breaking off. Has anyone?

IMO, it is better to use a pin that is the correct size and sits flush on the skin so that after aspirating you don't push it back and forth and end up puncturing something.

5/8 is a perfect size for most delts...

You can try sliding the skin to one side to prevent leakage... this is what I usually do. Slide it to the side, administer the shot, remove the pin and then let go of the skin... and let it slide over the site to stop leakage and possibly bleeding. Obviously it won't work when the site is on one of your arms (delts, tricpes, biceps)...

Exactly! Z-tracking should greatly reduce or eliminate this.

I nearly always bleed at least a drop or two, and I also use 25g pins. No biggie.

I only buy 1-1/2" pins. It is silly to have umpty sizes of pins in stock, especially since there is often a tremendous price break when buying in large quantities. I buy 300 at a time. I don't want three different lengths of 25g pins around. If it is too long, you just don't stick it all the way in! That's what my GF says anyway LOL

The best reason for not sticking it in to the hilt is not that there might be a malfunction, which is rare, but that the ferrule face will push detritus into the injection hole. I get this from my ex, who is a nurse, BTW. Either way, you should leave at least a bit of pin showing.

I use my 1-1/2" 25g terumos everywhere from glutes to quads to delts, pecs, and biceps. I look forward to the day when I can safely stick that sucker 1-3/8" deep into my delts, but until then I just poke it in an inch or a bit less, and don't worry about the extra length hanging out.

You could, of course, buy 1" pins, but IMHO these are marginal for glute shots. The muscle is thick there, and may as well get it into the heart of the muscle. Also, when you are not very lean, the skin and fat over the muscle can be well over 1/4" thick. Buying 5/8 pins will limit you even more, and for no particularly good reason that I can see.

I have had this dubious experience. The needle came out of the little plastic holder. I was all the way in. They dug it out at the doctor's office. Hurt like hell when they were chasing it all around my delt with a pair of forceps. Still have a scar to prove it.

I always leave enough out to grab now just in case.

Daayum... who made that pin? Your deffinitly in indoctrinated after going through that episode. I have asked this before and no one seemed to actually know of it actually happening - I guess like Tai said, there may have been a bad batch of pins at one time...

Believe me, it only takes once. No idea who made the pin. I got it from my doctor, so it was AMA approved. It wasn't like I found it at a drugstore in Malaysia.

Sh*t happens. Leaving 1/8" is no big deal when injecting and sure gives me peace of mind.

The real bitch was when the needle hit the bone. I never knew that bones had nerves, but based on my experience they are very sensitive.

I pull my cheek side ways, then insert pin, inject then release my chhek. This closes off the pin hole. Its called Z-track I believe.
