    1st injection...charlie horse pain

    1st injection ever........Injected 1 1/2 ml of deca into thigh.......may not have gone real deep........next day and today have had bad charlie horse type pain in that area..............no redness........feel a little swell, nothing crazy though......hurts to the touch. Is this normal...should I be concerned............its been 48 hours since injection...........thanks all and appreciate any responses

    What size pin did you use? Length of needle? Are you using anything else with the Deca ? did you inject slowly? Did you massage after ?

    22g.....1.5 inch.......didnt stick it all the way in though ...wnet about an inch deep.......didnt go super slow, kind of rushed it.....but not crazy fast either....didnt massage after............using Dbol with the deca

    OK, well you can go all the way in for glutes. 1.5 is the usual recomended. Going too fast with oil based can be the cause of pain or you may even develop an absess so slow it down. Heat and massage can help disperse the compound for less pain.

    May I ask WHY you are using just Deca with NO Test? I understand the dbol to kick start, but for a FIRST cycle, Deca is ....well.....its kinda DUMB.

    Have you heard of Deca dick? That is where you can't get it up because you are using just Deca....could also cause longterm problems with your HPTA as well.

    I would suggest trying to get some TEST if you can

    Deca dosen't hurt as much as T, but it does hurt. If you are going into the thigh, make sure you do it at least 2-3 days before your squat workout.

    why cant you shoot into thighs before a leg workout? i try to do it directly before as it helps ease off pain.

    Ill try the heat....damn I was using ice and that was making it feel worse!

    You can, of course, if it works for you. If I do the workout within a few hours of a thigh shot it's OK, but always knot up for a day or two afterwards either way. I've found that it's better for me to concentrate on other things for a few days so my leg can bend all the way without additional misery when I get around to squatting. YMMV.

    I should add that I'm usually doing half a gram each of TE and Deca into my thigh once a week, alternating legs each time. A smaller dose probably wouldn't knot up so bad. Also, glutes are preferred in general but also interfere with very deep squats.

    i did deca in both glutes and shoulders in a consecutive circle my first time and was the sorest i've ever been.. it was a bitch to sleep often because the thrombis would be like a bee sting just throbbing in the area last shot..

    it's totally normal.. stay away from the quad.. the delt and glute are the absolute best.. more adipose tissue and less veins to hit.. i hit a nerve ending once in my quad.. my quad flexed on it's own and shot the needle across the room and scared the living shit out of me..

    good luck.. go glute... you'll be much better.. trust me..
