Nizoral
Is it possible that using Nizoral too often could irritate your skin? I use Nizoral 2% once or twice daily and my face has started breaking out the last few days.
Now I'm two weeks into my cycle so I'm assuming this is just the hormones but is there a chance the Nizoral has a part in it?

I would contribute it to the shampoo. I would only use the shampoo if you start to break out, and by the sounds of it you may want to try different techniques.

Theres always a chance, stop it and see if the problem goes away.

It might be your cycle.

If it's the shampoo, it should clear up very quickly (within 48-56hrs).

Yes you can buy it on web. Also its usually located on the bottom of shelves in countries where it is non prescription. Just wanted to note, although cheap it is not a miracle lotion

Nizoral shampoo's active ingredient ketoconazole is what makes is so effective. Any shampoo with this anti-fungal in it should work the same as nizoral. I hope this helps.

using the nizoral to help with hairloss?

it blocks DHT in the scalp to a certain degree so yes it may help with hairloss (at least slow it down).

You changed the playing field three times and are surprised that irritation occurred:
1) Used shampoo on face regularly
2) Used the stronger 2% version
3) Used it twice a day
The face has a different PH level than the scalp, for which Nizoral was created. If you apply it to face and/or shoulders do so less frequently.
Of course you directly followed this with a face specific moisturizer as with all face cleaning RIGHT?
