Thread: So now I've finished PCT and I'm chubby...

    So now I've finished PCT and I'm chubby...

    Did an 8 wk cycle of test-e with basically zero cardio and gained ~25 lbs. Now I want to cut, but I've only been done with PCT for a week. Should I continue to eat 3-5k cal a day, or should I start cutting? I'm between 16-18% bodyfat right now. I've recently hopped on stimerex-es (ephedra - and it DESTROYS my appetite) but since I'm sensitive to caffeine my stomach (#2) has put me in the BR 7 times today lol (anyway to counter that? would taking pepto bismol everyday be bad or would that be silly).


    What do you guys think that I should do? Is it okay to start cutting now or will I lose all of my gains, or most of them? I'd like to keep them but I now have love handles and they suck.

    You wont necessarily lose all of your gains when you cut unless you do it the wrong way. Its your choice, if you want to lose weight than cut, if you dont than dont cut. Its your decision man, do what you want.

    ditto...if u wanted to get real serious about it u could go to a doc. get tested for test levels and then if ur back to normal then cut...

    next time...do more than 12 weeks with an ester of test like ethanate...12 weeks at least imo

    Ilike to keep protien and cals up for a month after cycle to help solidify my gains, then I cut the fat off.JMOThis is a perfect example of why you should have under 15% bf before cycling.

    because an ester like "e" does not kick in fully until week 6 at least....so if he only did 8 weeks that was like getting only 3 weeks

    Yeah. I wish I had more but I ran out of the vial. Anyways, I don't know what to do. I want to keep my gains but I have a belly now with love handles that I wish would just go.

    Should I keep my cals at 3-5k and just do cardio say, 2-3x a week on an empty stomach after a protein shake, with no fat burners?

    or should I cut my cals down to ~2.5k and use a fat burner and run a lot? I don't want to lose my cycle's gains though!

    In any case I'm hopping on anator p-70 (its worth a shot) to see if that does anything for me in terms of strength. All the way up to my first ephedra pill my strength gains were going up, but muscle endurance was still going down.

    Being OFF sucks.

    Unless you kick start cycle with Prop or suspension, I agree with Wolffey.

    Aratest is a pitiful excuse for a blend IMO... For every milliliter you have 200mg enanthate/50mg Prop I believe. I would recommend aratest if the blend was 200/100 but you also have to keep in mind that its mexican gear and it probably underdosed by 20-50%. Next time I'd just run enanthate wks 1-12 and then kick it with Prop 150mg EOD so you can control the dosage.

    So run enanthate for 12 weeks as my 2nd cycle would be good? Just that? Won't be doing another cycle for atleast a year though.

    id say yea...you might be able to jump it with an oral like dbol....but you should at least know how you react to ethanate...then again you did not do a full cycle so you might wanna just try test e over again to see if you have any adverse reactions

    The ONLY side effect I had during my test cycle was this horrendous skin discoloration on my chest. it was like patches of dry dark skin that still hasnt gone away. the dermatologist said it was a rare "1 in 500" condition and gave me minocyclin (oral antibiotic used for acne) for it. its started to fade but a month later it still looks as if i were a leper (on my chest).

    thats the only side i had. and it went a little on the back of my neck too

    Carpediemguy.. I'd not worry about your future cycle as of yet and concentrate on your training and diet to keep/further your gains that were obtained from the cycle. Deff. wait to start cutting your calories until you've had bloodwork done and your test levels have leveled out.

    ah the joy of bulking! im bulking now, and am expecting to put on noticable fat over the next 12 weeks. then, once im feelin good after my cycle, il get me some clen, drop the carbs almost completely, and get my then-fatter ass down the gym for AM cardio. you will know when you feel good after cycle. i always feel shitty 1-2 weeks after PCT, and this lasts about 3-4 weeks. in my mind i feel small, fat and weak, and almost feel like not training. i still do though, and once i start feeling back to my usual confident self assured, erm, self, then i worry about making further changes

    Timm I don't really agree with the dirty bulk while on cycle as I feel there is no need to gain excessive BF to maximize LBM. Have you tried it the other way around to compare or do you feel it's more effective the way you do it... seems more like 2steps forward/1step back IMO.

    My last cycle I ended at 210 12% and 3months later hold 206 @ 9%.
