antibiotic bactrum make anyone feel like shit?

I've been taking bactrum (antibiotic) for an infection (not staph) since last friday.

Yesterday and today i have felt horrible.. nauseus, no appetite and have lost like 7 lbs due to not being able to eat much solid food.

I've taken many antiotics but this is the first time i have ever been prescribed bactrum.

Bactrim is a sulfa based drug. That is usually for bladder infections. IF you feel really bad you could be allergic to sulfa. You didn't say what it was rx'd for so we can't tell if it is from your illness or meds. Need more info. Bottom line, if you feel worse, call the doc and switch meds. It's a no brainer.
