Bromocriptine???
(If this question belongs in a different forum, I hope the moderators will move it.)
Okay, so what's the deal with bromocriptine? What are its applications for weight lifters and/or dieters?

Bromocriptine is a drug used for Parkinsons and increased levels of prolactin.
As far as prolactin goes, it regulates milk production in females. In males, their really is no known function but it still exists in the male body.
All put to side, a decrease in prolactin is an increase in libido.
Bromocriptine has been shown to raise libido by lowering prolactin levels and raising the neurotransmitter dopamine which is why it is also used for Parkinsons(decrease in dopamine)

I did some searching
Bromocriptine has shown to have a therapeutic effect on obesity associated with Hyperprolactinaemia
The obesity has variuos etiology. Few and recent studies show that hyperprolactinemic states, primarily the prolactinomas can also induce obesity.
So I suppose if your prolactin levels are at a low and stable point, the Bromo can lower it further thus causing weight loss(according to few and recent studies).
