    skullsmasher question

    skullsmasher,
In another post you answered a question about using nolvadex with deca. your suggestion was L-dex with b-6. I get the part about the l-dex but what i'm unsure of is the b-6. Why are you recommending this? and what dose do you generally need to use for the desired effect? i tried the search function first but couldn't find a suitable answer.(i may have been doing something wrong) if you could give me any info on this yourself or just direct me to a thread or site where this is discussed in more depth i would greatly appreciate it. thanks

B-6 keeps your prolaction levels down.

Do not go over 400mg b-6 a day. It can become toxic

    Sorry for the delayed response.

Gsxxr is the one who actually suggested this to me initially. I have since, and previously heard of others doing this as well. 100mg ED is usually the norm.

Prolactin largely effects the mammary gland aka your breast, which is obviously a bad thing for us (can cause gyno). Deca is a prolactin antagonist as I assume you already know, which is why B-6 is such a good idea to supplement while administering any substance that increses prolactin levels.

I will have to do more research to definatively give you an answer in regards to why Adex instead of Nolva. Honestly, I am just taking the mods/vets word for it.

I know Nolvadex is supposed to inhibit prolactin response in estrogen receptors (mammary gland) for what thats worth.

This is a quote from swifto on b-6 dose..

More than 200mg/ED has been known to damage to the nervous system.

The Food and Nutrition Board of the Institute of Medicine has established a tolerable intake level (UL) for vitamin B6 of 100 mg per day for all adults.
