Caber is good. Also B6 helps with this if you are after an OTC remedy.

    thanks bino
will lower prolactin levels result in faster or better gains or is it only sexually related? i have read every steroid profile and done countless searches and gone through other websites and everything talks about test and estrogen but very very little about prolactin, is this BECAUSE it is mostly sexually related?

Prolactin largely effects the mammary gland aka your breast, which is obviously a bad thing for us (can cause gyno). Deca is a prolactin antagonist FYI.

I dont know about B6. No offense but where did that come from?

Prolactin: a protein hormone of the anterior lobe of the hypophysis (hypothalamus) that stimulates the secretion of milk and possibly, during pregnancy, breast growth.

Prolactin increases dopamine synthesis and secretion from the hypothalamus. Dopamine subsequently inhibits prolactin secretion. Dopamine agonists (bromocriptine) therefor inhibit prolactin secretion. Whereas dopamine antagonists stimulate prolactin secretion. Prolactin is usually blocked in females. Prolactin inhibits GnRH (gonadotropin releasing horomone), which is going to lower LH and FSH. LH makes testosterone in males. FSH make sperm. Dont know why you would want to inhibit that? If your a male producing milk you better get to DR. Stat.

Its physiologic importance it to prevent a nursing mother from becomming pregnant.

B6 serves as a cofactor for EFA metabolism, is important in dopamine formation, and for gluconeogenesis. B6 also acts as a diuretic, reducing hyperpermeability of cell membranes, which decreases interstitial fluid shifts. As a cofactor for dopamine production , B6 helps regulate prolactin ( dopamine suppresses prolactin) and as a cofactor for serotonin production, B6 helps stabilize mood swings. Estrogen rise results in relative B6 deficiency, because it releases hepatic enzymes which compete for B6. Supplementation with B6 improves hepatic clearance of estrogen.

    Nice informtaion.

I will add that you should NEVER go over 200mg/ED Vit-B6 as it has been recorded to lead to damaging one's CNS. 100mg/ED should suffice.

Other research sites carry it. On-line pharms do as well.
