    expiration dates on bottles...

I noticed on a few of the vials I have i either have passed or am comin up to the expiration date on them...

one bottle of prop expired on june 01 2006 another bottle of prop expired on january 2006

and I have three bottles of EQ that will expire on september 2006...

my question is would it be harmful to take the prop that has expired in june and in january ? and what exactly "expires" on these dates ? the effectivness... does it just go bad ?

just need some info... I have had these bad boys sittin around... and never realized they had an expiration date on them...

As long as they were stored properly, they will be good for a year or two past the experation date.
They will begin to lose some potency after that.

Exactly. Most medication (besides the really sensitive stuff) has an expiration date that is between 2-6 years earlier than the actual date it stops working correctly. In the military we would get our old medication tested (by a military lab) and if they were still good they would get another year added on.
