    pin size for delts

Been doing glutes and not had any problems but been thinking I should switch around a bit. Thought I might try shootin the delts. Never hit anything other thing other than glutes before. I have been using 23g 1 1/2" pin. The question is should I get some 23g 1" pins or use the same one and not go in all the way. Or mabey quads would be better but I have been hearing some stories on quads that didn't sound to good.

You can even get away with a 25g if you want to. Depending on how lean I am I'll shoot a 5/8" to 1" on delts. I would just go out and buy some new pins if I were you and save the others for glutes.
Don't worry about quad shots either. They're some of the easiest ones that you can do.

Cool, thanks guys. Had a buddy telling me to just use 1 1/2's and just don't go in all the way. But I thought pins are so cheap I should just get them and not take a chance of going too deep. 25's are OK too? cool that is what I will order. How much can a shoot into a delt? 1cc should be OK right what about 1.5 cc?

you should be fine doing 1.5 cc into a delt..i have done 3 cc w no problems..for delts i use 25g 1", and for glutes/quads i use 25g 1.5"....just draw up your AS through a larger pin than 25 g, or else it will take all day (not really, but too long for me)

for delts i've used 5/8" 25g, mainly cuz I'm pretty lean and never shot more than 1cc....if u were gonna shoot more than 1cc I would probably go deeper IMO....but 1.5 shouldn't make a big fdiff......in my glutes, I used a 1.5" 24g but I always draw everything with a 20g b/c its SOO much faster

I do draw with a 20g and it works just fine. So if I want to give the quads a go, stick with the 1 1/2's that I use for glutes but the delts and pretty much everywhere else go 1" correct?
