Using clen for 6-8 weeks
I just read the profile for clen and it talked about running clen for 6-8 weeks using keto or benadryl every 3 weeks or so, and that cycling on and off every 2 weeks was no good.
Why do so many people still preach cycling on/off and mixing in ECA? Who here has run clen for 6+ weeks using benadryl and what did your results look like? Any drop off after the first two weeks. Did you notice any significant anti-catabolic effects with the prolonged use?

I'm not looking to gain, I'm just looking to avoid losing muscle while losing fat.

My girlfriend ran it with benadryl just over 8 weeks combined with a reasonably low calorie diet, I believe she lost about 4 kg of fat.

I haven't really worked with clen yet, but i plan to towards the end of my first cycle (i'm on week 5 of 12 as of now). I hear that it can have an anticatabolic effect and people seem to recommend taking it with your pct.
i would not recommend taking ECA with clen however, because it uses the same receptors and these receptors need to rest and recover.... that's why people do 2 weeks on clen and 2 weeks off. if you use clen and then switch to ECA those receptors will never get to rest and you can wear out these receptors. i would suggest taking either clen or ECA, the choice is yours, however.
good luck.

I just finished an 8 wk run of clen with benadryl every 3rd week. These were my results/observations:
1. "the shakes" subsided after the first 2 wks...either that or my body just got used to it
2. the clen "cramps" disappeared the moment I took 2g Taurine per day
3. The Benadryl worked to kickstart my metab on wk 3 and 6 after I was starting to "cool of"
4. My resting BP was alway between 120/60 and 135/75, which was good, but by HR was always hovering in the 80s
5. I was doing a cutter and I was able to shed 20lbs in 10 wks (first 2wks clen-less)...I'd say at least half that weight was water...clen makes me piss alot... BF went from about 25% to 11%
6. I'm switching now to T3 for the final 4 wks of my cutting and it, along with the taurine, has stopped the clen rebound in its tracks
7. Will resume clen for PCT, but this time, only for 3 wks
8. Conclusion: I think I've lost a very small fraction of my LBM judging from my strength... my squat and bench press fell by only one rep for the same weightLast edited by InsaneInTheMembrane; 07-09-2006 at 11:00 PM.

Thanks Insane, that's what I was looking for. Great info. Did you notice more weight loss up front or was it pretty steady and consistent? How much benadryl did you use?
