diet for increasing muscle mass and decreasing BF%

I've been trying to read through this forum to find what I'm trying to do... But it seems like there is no combination that I can find. d

I want to gain LEAN muscle mass. (Gaining muscle weight while decreasing body fat %) What kind of diet should I pursue?

    Stats: 5'11''/175 lbs/ unknown bf%../

Bulk or cut pic one. You can not get big and ripped at the same time. Lean mass will come from diet not a cycle.

You can do both at the same time but it will take you forever and you won't gain as much muscle or lose as much fat as doing them separate. Cut first, then bulk, then cut again, then bulk, then cut......and on and on and on.

Anyone who says it is physically impossible to do both is exaggerating a bit. In between my first two cycles when I was about 22 I was eating about a 2500 cal "maintenance" diet and I weighed 1 pound more going into the 2nd cycle than when I ended the first and I was down 2% bf......meaning I had gained about 5 pounds of muscle and lost 4 pounds of fat in 5 MONTHS!!!!!!

I'm sure you are looking for better results than that!

I agree with twisted steele....it can be done on gradual basis.....So if you're looking to do that have patience.
