i think ur piss begins to turn green...a close friend of mine experienced that while on anadrol

  3. #3
That happened to a friend of mine also. I asked him if he was taking any daily vitamins and he wasnt. He stopped taking the anadrol and it did go away after time. He probably should have went to the doctors.

    Symptoms associated with Liver Dysfunction

    Abnormal Metabolism of Fats
Abnormalities in the level of fats in the blood stream, for example, elevated LDL cholesterol and reduced HDL cholesterol and elevated triglycerides. Arteries blocked with fat, leading to high blood pressure, heart attacks and strokes. Build up of fat in other body organs (fatty degeneration of organs). Lumps of fat in the skin (lipomas and other fatty tumours). Excessive weight gain, which may lead to obesity. Inability to lose weight even while dieting. Sluggish metabolism. Protuberant abdomen (pot belly). Cellulite. Fatty liver. Roll of fat around the upper abdomen - (liver roll).

    Digestive Problems

Indigestion. Reflux. Haemorrhoids. Gall stones and gall bladder disease. Intolerance to fatty foods. Intolerance to alcohol. Nausea and vomiting attacks. Abdominal bloating. Constipation. Irritable bowel syndrome. Pain over the liver - (upper right corner of abdomen & lower right rib cage).

    Blood Sugar Problems
Craving for sugar. Hypoglycaemia and unstable blood sugar levels. Mature onset diabetes (TypeII) is common in those with a fatty liver.

    Nervous System
Depression. Mood changes such as anger and irritability. Metaphysically the liver is known as the “seat of anger”. Poor concentration and “foggy brain”. Overheating of the body, especially the face and torso. Recurrent headaches (including migraine) associated with nausea.

    Immune Dysfunction
Allergies - sinus, hay fever, asthma, dermatitis, hives, etc. Multiple food and chemical sensitivities. Skin rashes and inflammations. Increased risk of autoimmune diseases.
Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Fibromyalgia. Increase in recurrent viral, bacterial and parasitic infections.

    External Signs
Coated tongue. Bad breath. Skin rashes. Itchy skin (pruritus). Excessive sweating. Offensive body odour Dark circles under the eyes. Yellow discolouration of the eyes. Red swollen itchy eyes (allergic eyes). Acne rosacea - (red pimples around the nose, cheeks and chin). Brownish spots and blemishes on the skin (liver spots). Red palms and soles which may also be itchy and inflamed. Flushed facial appearance or excessive facial blood vessels (capillaries/ veins).

    Hormonal Imbalance
Intolerance to hormone replacement therapy or the contraceptive pill (eg. side effects).
Menopausal symptoms such as hot flushes may be more severe. Premenstrual syndrome may be more severe.

The only way to know for sure is to have a Liver Function Test done via bloods and then if necessary you can get a Liver Biopsy done

I know people mean well but the "liver protection supplements', but it's pretty much a huge racket to make people money.

These products (liver protectors) were designed to offset the symptoms
of bacterial or viral hepatitis and fatty liver disease/cirrhosis. Yes, in
those conditions, LFT's may be elevated quite a bit but the underlying
mechanism causing the increase in LFT's is vastly different then the
*potential* rise in LFT's related to C-17a alkylated steroids.

So these "liver supps" probably won't do squat WRT to "protecting
your liver" against this mysterious quasi-phantom "liver problem"
    everyone thinks orals cause.

Your liver is a very resilient organ - you would have to be down to
less than 10% liver function before you would die as an FYI

Liver toxicity is overblown (greatly) and has only been documented
with the methylated stuff and only with a few of them anyhow.
And, liver enzyme levels will usually, but not always, go back to normal
within 90 days of someone stopping use all on their own.

Just because oral steroids "allegedly" cause transaminase levels to rise
a bit DOES NOT MEAN that the supplements you buy and use are going
to reverse this (even if a bunch of good bros here who mean well are
repeating unsubstantiated 'advice' they heard here or read over 'there'.

There is no proof...even of the really "stretched and embellished" proof
that these liver "protectors" will protect against a rise in LFT's related
    to methyl anabolic oral use.

Anabolic steroid-induced hepatotoxicity: is it overstated?

Researchers: Dickerman RD, Pertusi RM, Zachariah NY, Dufour DR, McConathy WJ

The Department of Biomedical Science, University of North Texas Health Science Center, Fort Worth 76107-2699, USA.

    Source: Clin J Sport Med 1999 Jan;9(1):34-9

    Summary:

Subjects: The participants were bodybuilders taking self-directed regimens of anabolic steroids (n = 15) and bodybuilders not taking steroids (n = 10). Blood chemistry profiles from patients with viral hepatitis (n = 49) and exercising and non-exercising medical students (592) were used as controls.

Measurements: The focus of the blood chemistry profiles was on aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), gamma-glutamyltranspeptidase (GGT), and creatine kinase (CK) levels. (All indicators of liver function.)

Results: In both groups of bodybuilders, CK, AST, and ALT were elevated, whereas GGT remained in the normal range. In contrast, patients with hepatitis had elevations of all three enzymes: ALT, AST, and GGT. Creatine kinase (CK) was elevated in all exercising groups. Patients with hepatitis were the only group in which a correlation was found between aminotransferases and GGT.

OBJECTIVE: There have been numerous reports of hepatic dysfunction secondary to anabolic steroid use based on elevated levels of serum aminotransferases. This study was conducted to distinguish between serum aminotransaminase elevations secondary to intense resistance training and anabolic steroid-induced hepatotoxicity in elite bodybuilders. DESIGN: This was a case-control study of serum chemistry profiles from bodybuilders using and not using anabolic steroids with comparisons to a cohort of medical students and patients with hepatitis. PARTICIPANTS: The participants were bodybuilders taking self-directed regimens of anabolic steroids (n = 15) and bodybuilders not taking steroids (n = 10). Blood chemistry profiles from patients with viral hepatitis (n = 49) and exercising and nonexercising medical students (592) were used as controls. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: The focus in blood chemistry profiles was aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), gamma-glutamyltranspeptidase (GGT), and creatine kinase (CK) levels. CONCLUSION: Prior reports of anabolic steroid-induced hepatotoxicity based on elevated aminotransferase levels may have been overstated, because no exercising subjects, including steroid users, demonstrated hepatic dysfunction based on GGT levels. Such reports may have misled the medical community to emphasize steroid-induced hepatotoxicity when interpreting elevated aminotransferase levels and disregard muscle damage. For these reasons, when evaluating hepatic function in cases of anabolic steroid therapy or abuse, CK and GGT levels should be considered in addition to ALT and AST levels as essential elements of the assessment.

i dont believe it "shields" the liver...but i do believe it helps support...as they usualy say on the bottles, for a support of a healthy liver, heart wtvr...but good info

I've gotten pains under my right rib cage before (which is where the liver is located). It was a dull ache that sort or went up into my chest. I've had blood tests, my liver enzymes have come back very high. I was sent to get a liver ultra sound and everything came back fine. Given enough time, the liver will repair itself back to par.

liver also DOES have the quickest recovering cells, besides the inside of your mouth, so it will repair itself, that is if give it a chance.....(alcoholics hear me roar)

I had a similar experience last year when I was still drinking, before I dedicated my lifestyle to being healthy.

The only thing with me though is that my liver values were almost normal. Nothing off the charts. So I had an ultrasound and all looked fine.

Then it was discovered that I had diabetes which explained the frequent urinating.

Sexy women are everywhere bro! You just choose to look for them at the bar. They do go other places when the bar is not open. It is also better to find a girlfriend in a normal invironment outside of the bar IMO anyways.

But back to what you said before that.
You also drank while taking an oral steroid? Big no no
So you take Superdrol up your Phera Phlex, drink alchohol, GNC special erbal blend, many other supplements mentioned in your other threads, combined with a high protein diet and you really wonder why you are pissing out blood?
C'mon man! It's not rocket science.
