Deltoid Injection Problem - Advice Please

hi!

im new to the site, and quite new to the world of steroids , but ive done a few courses.

recently i had an injection in my deltoid. the jab itself didnt hurt, and i got all the usual sensations afterwards...the deltoid muscle aches like its been trained heavily for the next couple of days etc.

but what ive noticed is the muslce has become swollen, its almost doubled in size. it doesnt hurt, it just aches like i said earlier. i've never noticed my deltoid swell before (maybe because i havn't really been looking out for it!)

is this swelling normal? and when should i expect it to go down? my injection was 2 days ago.

sometimes i will swell up after a delt shot, but not to 2x the original size

it's not really red or anything, is it?

sometimes it swells but double the size sounds like problems IMO i would go see a doc

its not sore or red, and it looks normal (except its bigger) i think double the size might be me getting a little bit excited.

but it is noticably bigger now than my other deltoid

i would just keep an eye on it for a few days, see what happens

i have swelled up for a few days it went away after a while but it wasn't double in size. you might have gotten the area infected

like i say. its alot bigger, but not double the size.

i figured there would be pain if it was infected. its put my mind at ease, because i wasnt sure if it was normal for the muslce to swell up

what did you inject? also how deep are you going. I use 5/8" pin. Some gear is worse than other.

remember the way to inject - swab oil bottle, draw with/out the same pin, swab the area to jab - then jab.

also is it home brew?

at the very minimum , try massaging the area - if it hurts to the touch and is swollen and red, might have an infection and may need meds. if you have heating pad, try that on the area, the heat will help with it to desipitate through the muscle

yes, please expand. oftentimes one's delts are way more tolerant of injections than the quads

it was 2ml (400MG) of deca , everything was correct and sterile etc. and there is no pain or redness. so im hoping its just one of those things...

Well that sounds like that might be the problem, your deltoid can't take in 2ml at one time. It can only handle up to 1ml at a time.

depending on your size 2ml is probably to much. Was it 400mg total or per ml?

2ml is not too much, i injected 1ml of prop/1ml of mast for a full cycle switching from right delt, to left for 10 weeks and never had a problem, and I did this eod. Never swelled up, never got infected. I was eager to do 3ml (1.5 per) but that was going a little over board.

i like injecting delts....and i like the swelling, it seems to help in making the muscle grow....i found that its getting much less painful or swelling the longer i go with the cycle....
