I was just wondering if DNP in it's non encapsulated form is a controlled substance here in the USA?

It's been on the banned list for years.
Regardless of form it's not a controlled (prescription only) product.

In other words it's legal to possess it, but it's illegal to sell it.

yeah, it is not used as a drug. I am a chemist we have it in the lab stockroom, it sells for insane prices. it is very cheap stuff. just make sure if you are getting a large amount of powder to handle with gloves and be VERY CAREFUL, IT IS VERY DANGEROUS STUFF, IF YOU **** UP MEASURING MILLIGRAMS YOU COULD KILL YOURSELF OR SOMEONE ELSE.

yes, but before i do, i want to say i highly discourage you using DNP.
you need to do tons of reasearch and take the dosage that is right for you, it depends on body weight.
2-5mg/Kg of body weight
i used it for 10 days.
1 200mg
2 400mg
3 400mg
4 400mg
5 600mg
6 600mg
7 400mg
8 400mg
9 200mg

i ate like crap, tons of junk food...but the more carbs you eat the hotter you get, IT SUCKS!!! you can deal with this, then you are dedicated...
you can eat whatever you want and still loose weight, but i wouldnt recomend that b/c it makes you hotter. after this cycle i could see my abs, when before i couldnt. the amoutn i lost was incredible. but it was miserable, i couldnt never do it again, i tried.

For the carb cravings ever thought about using Sibutramine ? I was thinking of doing a 3 week cycle at 250mg for 3 weeks,with less sides.Do you think this is a good idea? Thanks

OK, you can eat carbs, you can eat whatever you want, you do not need an appetite suppressant or a stimulant. you will NOT ne able to do cardio or list weights once you hit day 3, DO NOT PUSH YOURLSELF, you will be doing mundane tasks only!!! do can eat carbs, it is ok...if you get too hot than back off of them.
