    injection and scar tissue

How many cycles does it take most people, with two weekly injections, to build up enough scar tissue in the glutes that it's a problem? How does scar tissue effect injections?
Seems most people inject until this becomes a problem and then move on to delts, quads and biceps- is this an accurate assumption, or do alot of people switch from the beginning to avoid the build up of scar tissue?

Rotate from the get go to avoid scarring, as for how long you can get away with hitting one site only that really depends on your skin, which is going to be determined by genetics, however most say never hit the same site any more than once every seven days.

i switched from the beginning...now when im doing ED shots i rotate btwn 8 sites, and im thinking of adding in pecs which would give me 10 sites
    vastus lateralis
    vastus medialis
    delts
    glutes

how long will it take to build up enough scar tissue that it becomes a prob? i dont know..

you will know you have it when you can hear the need going in and it's a lot harder to push through

well, there are way too many factors to give an accurate answer here. one factor is if you're hitting the same exact area every time or if you're making sure to move around a bit as far as where you're injecting in each area.

another very important factor is the gauge of the needles you're using. to minimize scar tissue, obviously you'd want to go with smaller needles (higher gauges, 23-25).

another factor would be a persons genetics and how susceptible they are to scar tissue forming from the injections. obviously any injection will cause some scarring, but it may be more or less severe depending on the individual.

as far as hitting one area until too much scar tissue builds up, i think that's a horrible idea. once that happens, you've pretty much cut yourself off from an injection area. by continually rotating injection sites, you minimize the chance of dramatic scar tissue build up and it also lets you continue to have a large selection of injection sites to use.

i'd have to finish off with why the question about just injecting glutes? is that the only area you use and if so, why?

I've just started on my second cycle and was shown how to do the glutes. I've read how to do quads and delts, but haven't moved on to it yet.
