So, last night I had some a few friends over and one of my boys came across my new gear, so, I started showing them. Well this dick takes the rubber gromit off the bottle completely. I do not plan on using this stuff for about 6 -7 months from now. Does anyone think it will be a problem due to the fact that is has been exposed to air? Sorry if it is a dumb question, but I heard that its life is cut short once the gromit has been penatrated, let alone taken off.

why don't you get another vile, and draw the gear from the exposed vile and into a sealed vile

i would not use something that has been exposed to air for 7 months. u'll probebly get an infection.

if its air tight you are fine. you shoot air into it when withdraw anyway. the question would be did any germs or anything get in there in the few minutes the top was off. AND is it air tight now. if it isn't air tight now and loose, definitely get it into a new bottle.

well its air tight right now and it was only exposed for at most 1 min, but I just wasn't sure about it being exposed and letting it sit for so long. I don't believe anything got in it and I don't have any empty bottles either, but that is def a good idea.

If it was exposed for justa minute and its been airtight since its fine.If you can see anything flkoating in it dump it.

i wouldnt **** around at all man go to arr and get a whatman and an empty sealed sterile vial the pair will cost you like 12 dollars after shipping. with that you can have piece of mind that your shit is all good to go nothign to worry about for sure.

if you do this remember to pull some air into the syringe and shoot that through the whatman after you finished all your liquid, so you clear whatevers stuck in the filter

Yeah get a 10 or 20 cc syringe. 18 gauge pins. and a .22 whatman and filter it into a new vial!! Good idea 189!!

You should be fine. Like said above though, I'd transfer it to a new vial anyways. Better safe then sorry.
