One More
So this is my 3rd post in as many minutes so i'm sorry for not collecting my thoughts alittle better but here we go again.....I was reading on here that some members heat up they're gear before they poke to make that shot alittle easier going in and reduce the pain you get the following couple days....Like one Kat said on here already I'm not sure how many times I can use a Re-occuring charlie horse each week from hockey as to why i'm limping. Would you recommend doing this before your shot....
Thanks again

You can also inject into different muscles if your thigh injections are bothering you that much. Glutes, delts, pecs, bis and tris are all good places to inject.

One more thing, after you inject, you can also put a heating pad on the area for like 10 mins. I find that helps.

it really all depends on the gear you are on. i would recommend NOT heating it up for your first three weeks just so you see how your body will react. and keep in my, shooting into your quads is not the same as shooting into your gluts. gluts seem to take it a lot easy than quads. if you don't have a problem after the first three weeks than you should be good to go.

Heating the oil up is not going to reduce pain. All heating does is make the oil flow thru the pin easier. Pain is usually a result of high BA concentration and heating it up is not going to reduce the BA.

I don't think heatin' it up in the microwave is an option so do I jus hold it over the stove or heat up some water and place the vial in it.....I was thinkin' either would work.....yea or no
