Half the Testes, half the Test???

While doing some reading about how the body produces testosterone it got me wondering, Does someone like Lance Armstrongs body produce less testosterone than an individual with both their testes in tact. I some how think it has little if anything to do with it, i know a guy who was born with only one ball and he puts alot of the local AAS guys to shame au naturale.

well the HPTA feedback loop will compensate it somewhat, but does it completely compensate for the missing nut... dunno, but i think its possible. If u have half the test, Gnrh production will increase which will lead to increased LH + FSH which will in turn lead to more test being produced by the intact testis. Then it may hypertrophy to compensate for the missing ball maybe...

Hmmm interesting, I would think that like most other organs and appendiges we have 2 of, our body would be able to maintain homeostasis with only 1 ball, 1 Nut running at double capacity.... now if i could only get both my nuts to do that...

I heard Dr. Drew from "Love Line" say that it makes no diff.
