PGF2a cycle log
So I received my PGF2a today from TLR. It arrived promptly in 2 days! Whoo hoo! I first applied it with DMSO before I headed to the gym (an hour before workout). For those who are curious, I'm doing the Body Opus diet with this. It is a cyclic ketogenic diet with 5 days low/no carbs and 2 days of staged carb loading. Many people say PGF makes them hypoglycemic which is great because that means I can be BACK in ketosis in a day or less instead of 2 when I come off my carb load. I have a glucometer so I'll make sure I don't drop too low w/this.
7:00pm: I put .3ml divided into 2 doses (.75mg ea) (total: 1.5mg) along with .5ml DMSO GEL 90%/10% distilled water....onto two 3" x 3" squares of natural rubber gloves (MSDS's indicate they are not degraded by DMSO but latex IS). And gauze....stupid b/c it will waste the PGF. Anyway, I taped that to my medial delts and headed to the gym. It began burning quite a bit but other than that, had no side effects. During the workout my delts became depleted much faster than normal and it was much more difficult to lift my normal amount of weight. I had to pause a few seconds between reps as the burn in the muscle was very intense. Side effect: chills and A LOT of sweating.
11:00pm: I pinned .75mg (.15ml) into each delt for a total dose of 1.5mg. I felt FINE about 10 minutes later, however instead of getting in my car to hang out with friends as promised, I remembered a post saying "pin it and SIT on the toilet". I was so tempted to just leave as I felt fine, however I took the warning and just hung around the bedroom/bathroom area. About 10 minutes later owwww intestines started to cramp. It wasn't like I HAD to use the bathroom, but like I felt an urge to. Breathing became labored although not scary, short of breath, or exceedingly difficult. It just felt like I had done some sprints and my lungs were tired (not winded). About 5 minutes later (25 after inject) I sat on the toilet as the urge to use the bathroom was at this point pretty strong. Can't go? Hmm...not good. I wanted to go but couldn't. It was almost as bad as feeling like throwing up but not having the relief of doing so. I eventually went..it was all solid...didn't waste my vitargo and whey. 35 minutes after administration, all was normal and I felt great. I had a slight ache in my delts and they felt somewhat weak, but nothing major. Side effect: INTENSE CHILLS! MORE SWEATING under arms and legs.
3:00am: Pinned .75mg (total 1.5mg) per medial delt 1" lower than original application. Felt FINE again for 10 minutes...then nausea came on (still occuring). The cramping isn't as bad this time, but I still feel an urge to use the bathroom. It should subside within the next 5-10 minutes like last time hopefully. Side effect: INTENSE CHILLS...back and armpits sweating A LOT.
People speak of muscle pain, but other than a dull ache, it isn't really hurting. It may when I up the dose. We'll see. People complained of other compounds stinging and I felt NO pain on those so maybe I have a high pain tolerance in my delts or very insensitive nerves. We'll see how bi's/tri's go with this.

Damn...as soon as I did that last post I had to crap...went twice and the 2nd time was mostly water. Damn damn damn. Oh well...hopefully the sides will lessen with time. We'll see.

Hypoglycemic...for real!
Okay so I'm not completely hypo, but LAST week during my carbup I had a blood glucose level of 132mg/dl at this point in the carbup. I shot the PGF at noon and checked it at 12:45 and I was 68mg/dl!!!!! Eating every 2 hrs and consuming 600+ grams of high GI carbs in the past 10 hours, this is way off of what it should be. That's better than some of my keto mornings! So I checked myself with the keto strips and I'm in MID-RANGE ketosis! HOLY SHI*T! This is amazing. I'm wondering if I should eat more carbs? I'm loading slightly below Duchaine's recommendation of 16g/kg 1st 24 and 8g/kg 2nd 24hrs. I'm doing 14g/kg and 7g/kg and stopping my carbup at 36 or 38 hours due to some spillover from last week when I went the full 48hrs and 16/8 split.
But if my blood sugar is HALF what it was last time...what does this mean? Does this mean the PGF is shuttling the glycogen into the muscles with my glucose disposal agents (ALA, chromium, vanadyl, cinnamon)....OR is it somehow "burning it up" and I need more? ANY INPUT???

Today is day 8 I believe. Side effects are only mild discomfort now and I'm using up to 4mg at one time. I've been hitting front/mid/rear delts and just added in tri's and bi's. I realized I'm going to run out VERY SOON if I keep this up because I'll need 12mg/day. So I'm going to focus on delts and tri's as tri's make up 2/3 of arm size...they're already very lean...so they're easy to hit the heads on. Shoulders are easy to see the 3 heads on as well. I've noticed a pretty good increase in vascularity in the shoulders....bi's/tri's/forearms and I think the delt shots have just been affecting my entire arms. Also...very vascular in upper chest. I REALLY want to up the dosage per site but damn...I'm going to run out soon.
I think I could handle 1.5-2mg per site...3x a day. But...that would mean choosing tri's OR shoulders for the next 2 weeks til I run out. It's a tough decision. I'll have to see if I have enough cash to get more. On the other hand I don't want to spend more money if the results won't be worth it??
Observations:
After 3 days of administration....sides become bearable and dosage can be upped significantly.
When dosage is upped even by 25-50% more in one site it HURTS LIKE A BITCH.
The pump in the muscle if you hit the site regularly, however I'm training the sites anyway.

great results...strange effects
So I hit all 3 heads of the tri today and OUCH that hurts. Hit a blood vessel in my rear lower head and was squirting a bit...hahaha..don't ya love that. Anyway...it's going well. Slight stomach discomfort...not much to speak of in terms of bowel movements though. I'm sticking to triceps and delts for the remainder of this cycle to make sure I can see clear results. Delts and tri's should make a noticeable difference if they really do respond (other than leaning out)....for size.
My vascularity has DRAMATICALLY improved all over my entire body. My face has become incredibly lean in 8 days and I've noticed amazing improvement in my upper back leaning out as well. Everyone is commenting how lean I look and especially in the face. My mom said she was afraid I was getting too thin because of how thin my face was. I said "mom..feel my arm". She said "holy shit! that's hard!". Haha...yeah...my muscles are like rocks at the injection sites.
A strange side effect I've been experiencing has been a sort of "vibrating feeling" on my back. I know that sounds very weird...and it is. The first few days I felt chills. Now I feel a vibrating on my entire back and shoulder area...almost as if it's coming back from being asleep like if you sat on your foot/leg too long in an indian style position. This subsides after 30 seconds to a minute...thank god...because it is VERY WEIRD. I've never done any rec drugs but I can only imagine this would be similar to some sensations one would feel when taking something like that.
Another side effect is that my eyelids feel tight. I feel like they're thinning out??? Not sure.....
DAMNIT...had the sh*ts again. Damn. 10 min on the toilet again. Sometimes there is a delayed effect.
Also...as far as my eyelids feeling tight. I'm kinda freaking out here because I JUST LOOKED in the mirror and the area under my eyes looks like it has sunk in some? I can feel the bone structure around the eye and from certain angles it is somewhat visible as if there is hardly ANY fat left there. This is very odd. I'm kinda concerned! I pushed down on the area below the ocular cavity and can tell there is a small amount of fat there so maybe when I burn that it will smooth out but right now it looks freaky as hell....damn. This sucks! I hope this is dehydration only...b/c if not...I don't know if this is fixable!!

So it's been awhile since I've updated. Sorry about that. I switched to doing 2mg/tricep 3x a day and it seems like the outer head on my tri's is bulking up quite nicely. My arm measurement isn't really changing at this point, but visibly it's very noticeable. It's really rounding out the horseshoe shape and it's much more asthetically pleasing than before. It also seems to be burning fat in that area with some veins starting to show in the delt/tri split that I've never seen before.
I tried hitting the back head...no problem...the back LOWER head...horrible bruising. Everyone is asking me what happened with the bruises on my tri's. Haha...so that's been fun to explain. So I just hit around the split in the horshoe...and slightly down the back side...mostly down the front side. There is plenty of room to move the sites around if you go all the way up to the delt/tri split and down the horseshoe sides SOME. Obviously you can't go too far down or it will be too shallow.
As far as the hypoglycemic effects of the PGF2a, be CAREFUL. I do a weekly depletion workout after being low carb for 5 days (body opus..ckd) and I take in 130g High GI (100+) with whey after that workout...with 4mg PGF2a. It makes me feel HORRIBLE, lightheaded, nauseous, and overall like sh*t. So be extremely careful if you're carb depleting and considering this drug. When I'm already in ketosis, I can take it daily with no problems whatsoever. I just take it around protein meals and away from saturated fats.
During a carb loading phase, this drug is incredible! Eating 1500+ carbs in 48 hours and having NO spillover into fat and NO water retention is definitely a plus. It shuttles all of the carbs/proteins into my muscle cells and Monday and Tuesday's workouts are simply amazing. I experienced 5-10% strength gains following the PGF2a-assisted carb load....last week alone! This is all with test levels lower than a female (see other post about tumor). So...taking that into account...that's amazing.
The site-pain has increased dramatically as I've upped the dose of each inject. When I got about 1.5mg/tricep it began to hurt significantly. Now it sometimes feels like someone punched me there. I still do it post-workout and pre-workout sometimes although pre-workout...expect to lift A LOT less weight with your tri's/delts than normal. This strength is back to normal if you workout a few hours AFTER an inject...it just hurts like hell and the lactic acid buildup and pump come a lot sooner and a lot more intensely.
I have probably 8 or 9 days left of the PGF2a and will continue to update as I have time. Since I'm focusing ONLY on triceps for this initial run, I should be able to see some things worth noting.
I WANT to increase my dosage but I'm afraid to go over 4mg at one admin time because I feel like garbage sometimes with that dose. The side effects are delayed now to where if I'm going to have the runs it is 30-45 min later instead of 20...but it still sucks. Once this is done I don't know if I'll take it again unless my tri's dramatically improve in the next week and a half. If they do, I'll take the sides and do it again.
I believe I mentioned this in a previous post. I noticed my eyes look "sunken in". I did a lot of research and the only thing this could be is dehydration. PGF2a is the only change in my routine/regimen so that has to be in. I'm at 1.5gal water per day and have no other signs of dehydration although everyone is commenting on how weird my eyes look. It's starting to get to me some and I'm considering stopping the cycle short. However, 8 or 9 days...might stick it out. We'll see.Last edited by liftin4life; 09-02-2006 at 01:11 PM.
