    hair loss

    is there anything for receeding hairline on the market? will rogaine help or anything else for that matter

    I was running dutasteride, but you have to run it for like 6 months to a year before anything happens...

    I am starting back on this. I went to the doc and to get it prescribed its 85.00 a month ! Just purchased two from the store today

    i've been running it for a couple of years now - works great - $85 for 30 is pretty expensive - you can get it waaay cheaper if you hunt around a bit

    I'd use dutasteride, lots have used it with great success!

    Depends on how advanced it is, but generally yes - although not as well as on the crown

    Im curious, did it fill your mop up completely? or did it just thicken up a bit? how long did it take you to see results, and at what dose?
    Im thinking of trying it again, but for a longer period of time...

    My hair was only slightly thinning at the temples - it just thickened it up & stabilised any loss - I still pretty much have all my hair & it's nice & thick - was on finasteride for 4-5 years & dutast for around 2 years now - both these kinds of things are definately long term treatments - ie dont expect to see any overnight change - you need to pretty much run them all year / permanently - I also use nizoral shampoo which seems to help

    yeah - will continue forever / until something better comes along / until i dont care if i go bald ( ie get married )

    it's mainly saw palmetto - no way near as potenet as Dutast
