Albuterol is a Beta2-agonist, not a cortico steroid like flonase.

Flonase is a cortico steroid . Cortico steroids are man-made drugs that closely resemble cortisol, a naturally produced hormone. Flonase decreases inflammation from allergies, thus helping return the airway to its normal size, resulting in easier breathing.
