I tend to somewhat aggree with rock. If people keep saying where they get their gear they are pointing the authoritys to their source, and even though the info you post might not help them alot, it will somehow help them a little.
And in any case, it is best to contact a mod or vet concerning such things since they have a lott of experience and probably know what to do.

Everybody(including rock) calm down and try to keep an open dialog.

I was under the impression this site was about helping each other. Some "newbs" may be slightly careless and post sensitive information. Advising them isnt against the Rules last time I checked.

I think rock has a point but is over reacting. Saying a pack comes from China, UK or east bumble f**k isn't giving details. You really think giving a country is going to effect anything? Some DEA is on a board and see's that a pack is shipped from location x by xyz company and that matters. You think they are going to search every pack by FedEx.

I wouldn't post how shit is packed or hidden.

gixxerboy, even though saying a country from which your gear originates does not disclose any real details, I can tell you that in my country now, packages from Thailand and India are now under more supervision and controlled more often because they know that that is where alot of these things originate from.

I do agree that in fact this information is not vital for the authoritys enforcements against gear, but I do believe that we need to be more carefull about disclosing any information, no matter how trivial on a board that we are positive is being monitered. As I stated earlier, any given country can become "flagged" to a certain extent.
