Insulin Syringes only available by prescription?
I went to different Walgreens, Targets, and Walmarts and all say it is prescription only. I thought they were OTC in large chains in FL

Most any local mom and pop (pharm.) store will sell them to you. In AL those stores you listed will sometimes make you show ID and sign. Online pet supply stores will carry them. KK

I think it depends on how they look at you when you walk in. I am pretty sure that FL, by law, they are OTC but if they think you aren't kosher they will balk.
Try walking up with a sack or two of glucose (you need that PWOT, anyway) and ask the pharmacist if they have any A1C home test kits. You don't need to buy one, but ask about them and if he has an opinion. Then, as your glucose is being rung up (hint - don't buy a candy bar!) sort of casually ask lke you just thought of it - "Oh! - do you guys have boxes of insulin syringes? My clinic says I can get them cheaper from you."

So far so good, they seem to be doing what they’re supposed to.
