After being on this board for quite some time and helping critique many cycles for folks over the years, I've decided to make a post that outlines an effective, simple, and clear way to present your cycle to the board. On the highest of levels, the format you choose to present your planned cycle should be both intuitive and easy for other members to read!
Here are tips for laying out your cycle that should be followed:
Cycle Sharing Tips
1.) Make sure you list the compounds you are running as well as the timing of administration
2.) Include the dosage you plan on running, and the frequency of this dosing (I like to use weekly total)
3.) Make sure to outline your PCT regiment below the cycle to prevent questions from other members! Stop being lazy and show us you have a plan!
4.) Avoid characters and layouts that don't translate well into a forum setting with all sorts of dashes
Here is an example of a good cycle outline that is easy to read and clear to experienced people who can help you:
Cycle:
Weeks 1-12 Test Enanthate - 500mg/EW
Weeks 1-10 Deca - 300mg/EW
Weeks 6-12 Winstrol - 50mg/ED
Weeks 1-12 Nolvadex - 25mg/ED
PCT:
Day 1-5 Nolvadex - 60mg/ED
Day 6-15 Nolvadex - 40mg/ED
Day 16-21 Nolvadex - 20mg/ED
Not only does an outline like this make sense to everyone reading, but it shows that you put some time into planning, and that is key for any cycle. Part of the key to becoming knowledgeable is being able to plan your own cycles effectively, and if you start doing it like this from the beginning, you will prevent confusion and encourage more experienced users to help you.
Here is an example of a bad outline that is much more work for you, and easier for a reader to misinterpret:
mg mg mg mg
Test E Deca Winstrol Nolva
1--500----300------50------20
2--500-----300------50------20
3--500-----300-------50-----20
4--500-----300------50------20
ETC ETC ETC.
While this looks like it might be easy to follow, you have already typed more than the one above, and it requires interpretation. Cycles that have 5 or more compounds are going to be harder to visualize in your head, but for most users on this site, you will NEVER need to outline a cycle so complex within your first few years of administering AAS. By the time you are stepping into 5 compounds, you won't even need to ask for major advice since you will be familiar with half-lives
Extra Credit For Beginners:
1.) Become familiar with normal dosing for compounds you plan on running. The steroid profiles section of this site lists normal dosing for many of the compounds that are described!
2.) Become familiar with half-lives so you know the frequency you need to administer
3.) Learn about as many different compounds as you can so you can assist other members that might not be familiar!
4.) Don't be afraid to offer your experiences to other members! It might make all the difference in some cases...
Conclusion:
I hope that this post will encourage organization and planning, and possibly eliminate frustration from people that are more than willing to help you.
Make it easy for us, and we will do our best to make it easy for you!
