What is your prefered gauge needle to inject oil?
What is your prefered gauge needle to inject oil?
23G for glutes, 25G everywhere else
I draw from the bottle w/ a 23G
I like 23g it's noce and smoth
Do you re-use the needle that you draw with?Originally Posted by Ih8urdsm

25g 1 inch for quads, delts, chest
If I am drawing more than one compound, i use an 18g needle to draw then switch it to inject
I get my sysring with a 20g on it. So i draw my compounds than chand to a fresh needle.Originally Posted by Aliceinchains
Never reuse.
I mean do you use the big needle that you use to draw with again (to draw)?Originally Posted by gsxxr
I wouldn't use the same needle or syringe.. It's not worth it IMO

Hell bro 100 syringe with needls with 100 shooting needle is like $30.
For glute shots, do you insert a 1.5" incher "to the hilt"?Originally Posted by gsxxr

Thnx Gsxxr.
All Needles are ONE TIME only use.
Once you stick anything with them, throw them away and always use a fresh sterile once each time. they only cost pennies, your health is priceless
Draw with a 20g and hit the musle with a 25g or 23g depending on what the gear is suspended in. Smaller pins really become necessary when injections are frequent (like ED or EOD) to minimize scar tissue build up...
IMO you should never bury the pin entirely or "to the hilt" as you say... always leave a tiny part of the pin off the skin surface just in case it breaks then you have something to get a hold of & pull it out.
I always put it all the way down to avoid moving back and forth while administering, which can lead to possibly threading a blood vessel. I have never come close to having a needle break off in me, nor has anyone I know - but I hear it has happened to some people. If by some freak accident it did happen, I guess I would start leaving some of it out... it just seems very unlikely if you use commercial pins.Originally Posted by getnjakked
Warrior... I agree totally about the pin moving back & forth...that could be dangerous for sure. I have heard the horror story of a pin breaking off when it was buried & a trip to the hospital was need to dig it out. I guess it also depends on your "pinning" histroy & skills.I would HATE to have one break off if it was buried, but i see your point.
Just keep a strong magnet handy lol
23 gauge works nice. 25 isn't bad either, I like 25 for quads 23 for glutes. 1" for quads 1.5" for glutes.
Don't reuse the pin you draw with. I draw with whatever came on the syringe, and switch to a 23 gauge to inject.
i prefer 23G 1.5" myself.
25 is considered smaller, correct? And the reason these aren't used exclusively is that it takes awhile to complete the injection, due to the viscosity of the oil limiting the rate at which it can flow through?Originally Posted by Warrior
i use a 20/21 g to draw.. and anywhere from a 23 to 28 to inject
I brewed some gear that runs tru a 28 g like water..
Generally tho, for gear with higher vicosity, i use 23 g (1") almost exclusively...for all bodyparts. The exception to this being 25 g (5/8") pins which i use on delts.
I've a question for you bros.Originally Posted by cfiler

We're not all as lean as you :P

Yeah - the higher the gauge, the smaller the pin. You really do want to use the smallest pin possible to protect the muscle from the insult of injections. If you try and be a tuff guy and use a hose - you will build up scar tissue faster (the muscle gets tough and hard to inject)... the only good thing about bigger needles is that they are more likely to move blood vessels than pierce them.Originally Posted by Aliceinchains
Water is obviously the thinnest - it's how small the particles in the gear are that will limit you there. Like some Winstrols suspended in water still require a 25g to keep the pin from choking... but Zambons are much finer and can slip through a pin smaller than 25g. Oils can very - I have slipped Verimone prop through pretty small pins, pins that most other oils wouldn't get through - without a fight.
Also, a pin that can inject easy - does not always draw easy. So get a hose for drawing (you can also scrape on the bottom of the vial all you want this way) and then throw that one away and switch to a fresh, sharp, smaller pin for the actual administration.
25G 1 inch
$30?? bro, PM me, your paying wayyy too much, I can get 100 needles with 100 syringes for $12.50 "and they are the twist on jobs, not the POS push ons". Shipping is dirt cheap too.Originally Posted by gsxxr
I've used both and they both work, i dont like to put the needle all the way in, so 1 1/2 inch gets deep enough for me to keep atleast a 1/4 outOriginally Posted by Narkissos
but 1" worked fine too lol![]()
1 inch is all you need.
As far as the gauge, just depends what your shooting, You obviously want to use the smallest possible.. I like 25g myself, but 23g is pretty much all around. All depends how thick it is. if it's winny, try a slin pin although some brands will require a 25g
