    DNP Allergies

I wa on my 8th day of my DNP cycle and everithing was great so I went to sleep and on the 9th day as soon as I woke up, I had a rush with hives, I taked some antihistamines but it didnt do anything, of course that I stoped the cycle right away, then at night my family taked me to the doctor and she gave me some more antihistamines(I didnt tell her about the DNP), and told me that if thinks didnt go better shell put me on corticosteroids. Should I let her give me the corticosteroids?, How often should I take my antihistamine?, Does it has to be Benadryl or anithing will do? Any other advice greatly apreciated, and thanks in advance.

Engraved on the cover of the 'Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy' are the words, "Don't Panic".

Benadryl or an equivalent antihistamine will do. Keep administering it every 4-6 hours (non-drowsy formula obviously) and you'll be fine. Discontinuing DNP is the most important thing; this will resolve the rash alone if given enough time. But antihistamines accelerate recovery, by literally drying it from the inside out.

    Yes, it's normal.
The heat is sort of an 'active side'. Recession of the side is not indicative of a cleared system. The half-life (presence in the body) will always exceed the active life, which is often associated with physiological side effects. You'd still test positive, whether you felt warm or not.

Magic32, good handle on this subject.

Angelus, it may happen faster next time... it seemingly gets worse after one gets the hives, so I have heard.
