I am a new member of your forum and have found MANY answers to questions that I have always had about AAS. This place is an information warehouse! To start off, I am 19 years old, 5-10, 168lbs. and 8% Body fat. I have been training as hard as a I possibly can for about a year now, and have had mild gains. I began lifting when I was about to turn 17 and have been addicted ever since. I lift on the following 5 Day cycle:
Day 1: Back and Bicep
Day 2: Chest and Tricep
Day 3: Front legs(leg press, squat, extension)
Day 4: Hamstring and Calf
Day 5: shoulders.
I break legs into 2 days so I can absolutely crush them when I do them. I consume around 3500-4500 calories a day as well as taking in around roughly 100-120 grams of protein. Many of the people who I am friends with that do them say that the cycle will give only what you make of it, and I feel I am ready to give it my all. I want to begin a cycle in a few months and want to gather ALL information about it that I can before putting something of this magnitude in my body. By my own admittance am a newbie at this whole thing. I believe, after reading many other posts, that I am much more organized than many other that ask the question "am I ready?". I eat as much as I feel is humanly possible and take my protein shakes twice a day. I am interested in doing a cycle, either injectable or oral, that will help me put on about 10 pounds. I am not looking to go crazy with it, and would prefer a weaker cycle for my first time to see how I respond. I would prefer a single drug cycle that would help me accomplish this goal(preferably only once a week, but if I have to, twice). I am by no means looking to cut any weight, but rather put on some extra with muscle. Any reccomendations as far as a beginners cycle would be greatly apprecaited. I have heard many friends who use Deca say that it does just what im looking for, but after reading through a lot of articles around here, I notice that MANY people do not reccomend doing a deca only cycle. What is the reason for this? What are some side effects that I am likely to experience at my age with Deca? I am moderately strong, but by no means a stud in the gym, nor an aggressive person. I feel that a cycle is right for me not to impress anyone, prove anything, etc. I just want to get stronger. I am currently squatting 185 and benching about 175(max 185).
