    injection to the quad

k this is my first time injecting to the quad, it was .5 ml deca .5 ml sust
i inject twice a week, this was my first injection of the cycle on my quad, but my quad feels incredibly soar, the actual muscle i injected in was kind of the outer side of the quad closer to the knee. well ive been told and recommended by a few guys to do it there, that its painless. and painless it really was, i felt nothing but a bit of soarness, perfect injection from what i saw. but its about 11 hours later, after my work out by 2 hours. note that i did not do any leg workouts. but my muscle feels very soft, and in somewhat of pain. its hard to extend my leg all the way, and ptu pressure. for instance if you told me to run, there would be no way i could, ive tried. now is this normal, i know yoru supposed to get soar, but to this extent? bad juice? how can i tell? or is it just plain normal, and jsut because i injected in that spot, and im being dillusional?

Heyt bro,Quad shots can hurt like hell!!!..especially if you're injecting then for the frist few times.use your glute and then rotate to the shoulders.Go ahead annd put some hot compresses on there and it should go down.

That's why I'll never do sustanon or anything else containing test-p ever again! It reduces me to cripple when I use it, and always inspires my girlfriend to make funny comments when I move around like a senior citizen with broken hips.

I dunno about putting it closer to the knee, personally I go to the outside (like you said) and almost right in the middle of the hip/knee.

is the area red or inflamed? If you are feeling feverish then you need to keep a close eye on things as it could be an infection where you injected. If left unattended this can turn serious. The area will swell up and become red and painful if infected.

well i just woke up an hour ago 1045 i was up till about 4 with a pretty bad fever. the fever went away, but i do feel groggy, kinda when you get over being sick. my quad is swolen, its not red at all, no puss is coming out of it. but its kind of hard to walk, and i am walking around crippled. im thinking the gears dirty and maybe if i heat it somehow? boil it? something, not sure. i guess it could be infected by i wont be naive about it. the muscle feels kind of soft and swolen, and its hard to flex it, and btw the injection was closer in the middle. could it be this all is from injecting too close to a nerve? last night i felt either a vein or a nerve popping up and down here and there, some sort of throbbing in a small area of the quad, let me know what you guys think

Hey bro,That sounds like a reaction to the gear...Give it a day to see what happens....If you even think its infected go to the doc at once..

well im not guessing its infected, its soar and swollen, but im not noticing redness, puss, it more or less feels like a big bruise without the purple and blue, the way i injected could it be possible to bruise my muscle from it, ive bruised bones before? maybe this is whats going on?

I don't think so.. bigmax's guess is the best you'll get w/o going to a doc.

Look at it tomorrow and reassess the situation.

I do my quads all the time. I can tell you that it does hurt but subsides completely after 3 days with every day improvement. Hurts most on first few shots. There are a nurves on the top of the thigh and if you shoot near it hurts like hell. Be sure to follow perfectbeast2001's advice. If it doesn't go away after 3 days, go see a doctor

    Apply heat, it should help.

was this your first shot of your cycle?? if not maybe your feeling feverish due to the fact you may be gettin test flu... i could be wrong but something to think about... if you think its infected or its gettin worse head to the docs

Ive been doing sust shots for about 3 weeks now they hurt like a bitch but you get use to them after the 3 week just a bit of soreness on the injection site warm the sust up in a dixie cup and hot water then take 4 tabs of motrin ib you will feel fine a while later. Its been working for me.

The redness and soreness with the hard area is a chemical abcess its nothing to worry about they stay with you for a few days (up to 6 for me) but they go away its your body building up a barier trying to contain the juice its ok once your body is introduced to it.

It's normal. I tried hitting my quad this cycle with text cyp/deca last week. Like you said, the actual injection was nice, pain free. But, I was in pain for about 4 days, impossible to flex that quad, all of what your saying. I didn't have a fever, I watch what my temp is on a regular basis. Take advil, second day the advil did nothing, but at the end of the few days.It felt worse, took some advil, felt great and never came back. I had a thread about it, I'd rather take a shot in my nuts before the quad again. Glutes are just too simple and pain free.

it will be the sust, put a bit more deca in your next shot that will help ease the pain, you'll probably still feel it but nowhere near as bad.
