i was just wondering if once pct is done, and a week is taken off from the gym, can muscle or strength loss occur?

depends on your diet and how you have done with your pct.i wouldnt take a week off personally
i wouldt neither but, i got offered to go on vacations for new years for free so i couldt turn it down
Im sure if your going to a decent place they will more then likely have a gym... i woudlnt suggest taking a week off either but i know sometimes things happen.... most importantly keep your protein intake high, thats the key along with PCT to maintain your gains.... but wherever you go try and hit the gym... if not push ups, crunchs, dips... use things in ur room to lift with.. ive done it plenty of times you woudl be surprised how useful a chair is![]()
im talking about once pct is all said and done with,, the way its scheduled out is that after my 4 weeks of pct i leave for my vaction 2 days after
YOu should be fine man.. just eat like i suggested... and lift if you can... but dont get depressed if you shrink a little its nearly impossible to keep all your gains.. as well as you might be losing some water .... psychological factors come into the picture.... but you know if you dont lift like you should its common to lose a little..
pct is the key for loss prevention........imo.
LPR ...dermatology.
the real question IMO is that can any gains be kept after PCT + 6 months off gear.. that is if u have reached a pretty advanced level..
for me even with perfect PCT if I take off a week to close to when I stoped I do lose some.
anybody else with hands on expierence
Taking a week off is actually extremely beneficial considering the majority of trainees are overtraining anyhow, so I'm all for the week break... Keep the diet on point and continue with the cardio and you should actually come back stronger, more rested, and completely healed.
Completely agree. Everyone should take some time off. Whether you lose muscle mass or not will have to do with your length of time bodybuilding imo as well. If some beginner takes a week off he could lose some, if say Jay Cutler takes a week off he wont lose jack.Originally Posted by I**mfkr
Hard to say for each person without knowing anything about you really.
Every person is diffrent. I did a test/deca cycle 6 months ago, right after I lost the water ( few pounds) and I still have it. I had to go away from work for a week and I lost nothing. Just eat eat, I felt like I lost strength but it comes right back. Lot is in your head, Mental is a huge factor taking something or not. something or not.
thanks for the replays
