    first cycle, ne advise?

    im ready to run my first cycle, im old enough and been liftin for 2 years now, i weigh 175 with Bf around 8 or 9 percent. i was looking into a deca cycle because it seems simple enough for a first time cycle, either an 8 or 10 weeker at 300mg a week. the only reason im weery about the test is the fact that keeping gains afterwords seems very very hard to do, and most people i know who have cycled with test/deca/dbol say that they dont keep much of their gains at all, what are your opinions on this. im looking for a cycle to add atleast a solid 10 pounds to me that i will be able to retain.

    My option is to use the search button. Deca only cycles are normally not recommened for a first cycle or any cycle at that. Its normally better to add with test but you do not have to add Dbol. A lot of people retain a lot of water with Dbol then when they stop taking all their "gains" look like they are gone. My advice first cycle is test 500mg a week. Yo uneed to shoot it twice a week, mon-morning thur night. Other then that, use the search button.

    what are your stats? u say old enough? exact age? and height? and lifting experience? also ur diet is the main source of ur gains

    23, 175lbs 8-9% bf, 6 foot, 2 years very serious lifting. well with what some poeple are saying, they say 500mg test a week for 1st cycle. isnt test hard as **** to keep gains with?

    deca only cycles..very silly
    dbol/test/deca for first cycle...another silly move

    first cycle always 500mg Test split and shot twice a week and dont forget the good old PCT if you dont know what that is i suggest you research it...HEAVILY

    the only reason ppl cant keep the gains is bcoz they stop eating as much, in order to keep your gains you need to continue your diet and hard training

    At 6' 175, you do NOT need steroids!! You need to learn to eat properly first and foremost !! If you don't hvae your eating down before cycling, you will be wasting your cycle.
    Deca isn't the best choice for a first cycle, and can be harsh on your libido.
    All gains are hard to keep after a cycle if you do NOT know how to keep them.

    gaining or losing mass is 80% food and training, and only 10-20% the compounds you use.

    I suggest you stick around and research diets some more, hold off on the AAS for a little while if you are disciplined enough and we can help you get to your goals and help you KEEP THEM

    sounds good. test cycle at 500 a week for 8 weeks or 6 weeks? i have a much older relative who used to be into bodybuilding and he was very fond of longer cycles, but most of my research leans tword moderate to shorter cycles. as for PCT i have a good working knowledge of it just not 100% sure which wud work the best for me.

    Hey bro,you're not listening...at that weigght you need to learn about nutrition first...even if you did AAS..If your nutrition isnt there your wasting your time....Another word of advise ...do some more research...you say 8 week or six weeks on test???..it can take up to six weeks or test enan to hit your system.

    well like SMAN and Bigmax said it looks like you need to build a proper base first, get your diet and training regiment in check and build yourself up to around 190 - 200lbs b4 you make the jump to AAS, you'll find once youve got a proper base gains from AAS will be much more noticable and effective IMO

    also test cycles should be run for 12 weeks bcoz they kick in at around week 4 - 6
