Lump after injection
I'm speaking for my husband who injects test e, for medical purposes 200mg every 2 weeks.
He did a shot last Saturday, 6 days ago, he said that it was more painful than any other time. The next day he had a small lump, with a small red bruise and it was painful to the touch. Over the next few days the lump has gotten bigger. It's kinda like a golf ball size, it just feels very swollen underneath. It does not hurt anymore but is still swollen. It's not warm the touch either, not that we can tell.
Could anyone tell me what this could be? I have tried searching this problem but everyone's seems to have gone away in a couple days.
Thanks in advance!

thank you. However it's been almost a week now since he did the shot. We should give it another week to go away?

okay if its not an infection, which it could be,,, but sometimes my friend who shoots test cyp gets big lumps in his shoulders taht are really big, but they go away after about a week or so, cyp or enth. sometimes balls up... maybe it is that but if its still there id go to the docs to see if its an abcess... did you use clean needles

golf ball sized and red? Is the red area unusualy hot? If so, and the shots are for medical purposes, I would call the doc or his nurse? Also, some insurance companies have 24 RN line for medical questions. Group Health is one of these.

It happens to me every time I inject, it will go away. It gets worse before it gets better. Mine last about a week then go away some times the lump is better than others but it should be fine. The medical reason for it is because your body literally builds a wall around the oil being injected its a chemical abcess, because your body is not use to the foreign substance there for its your bodys way of defending its self.
