Can ephedra Cause or accelerate hairloss?
Can ephedra Cause or accelerate hairloss?
noooo
It won't. Are you prone to MPB?
You know ephedra is NOT a Steroid right?
I was thinking the same thing hellmask.... it sounded like he thought it was a steroid.... but i guess thats possible to believe considering many sites place ephedrine under the steroid profiles
But no... no hair loss
I've heard from many bros that are prone to hairloss that it has an indirect effect in accelerating hairloss..thats why I asked. I am trying to find out the reason why I am shedding after i stopped shedding for a year on propecia
Sadly I love takeing ephedra. I get it free so I've taken it for the last couple years off an on. I have all my hair.
i cant believe this thread got soo much attention
Well it's not impossible - AAS aren't the only drugs that can cause / accellerate hairloss - there are plenty of others.
I've heard of hairloss being associated with amphetamine abuse, and ephedrine is extremely close ( structurally & functionally ) to amphetamine so it doesn't sound at all imposssible to me.
These drugs may have no effect on hair, or may cause some thinning. They rarely cause complete hair loss.
Asparaginase (Erwinase)
Bleomycin
Busulphan (Myleran)
Capecitabine (Xeloda)
Carboplatin or JM8 (Paraplatin)
Carmustine (BiCNU)
Chlorambucil (Leukeran)
Cisplatin
Cladribine or 2 CDA (Leustat)
Cytarabine (Ara-C)
Dacarbazine (DTIC)
Estramustine (Estracyte)
Fludarabine (#Fludara)
Fluorouracil (5FU)
Gemcitabine (Gemzar)
Hydroxyurea (Hydrea) Lomustine (CCNU)
Melphalan (Alkeran)
Mercaptopurine or 6MP (Purinethol)
Methotrexate
Mitomycin C
Oxaliplatin (Eloxatin)
Pentostatin (Nipent)
Procarbazine
Raltitrexed (Tomudex)
Streptozocin (Zanosar)
Tegafur (Uftoral)
Temozolomide (Temodal)
Thioguanine or 6TG (Lanvis)
Thiotepa (Thioplex)
Vinorelbine (Navelbine)
These drugs commonly cause temporary hair thinning or complete hair loss.
Amsacrine (m-AMSA)
Cyclophosphamide (Endoxana)
Chlormethine or mustine
Dactinomycin (Actinomycin D)
Daunorubicin
Docetaxel (Taxotere)
Doxorubicin (Adriamycin)
Epirubicin (Pharmarubicin)
Etoposide or VP16 (Etopophos, Vepesid)
Idarubicin (Zavedos)
Ifosfamide (Mitoxana)
Irinotecan (Campto)
Mitozantrone or mitoxantrone
Mustine or Chlormethine
Paclitaxel (Taxol)
Topotecan (Hycamtin)
Vinblastine (Velbe)
Vincristine (Oncovin)
Vindesine (Eldisine)
this obviously isn't a comlete list, but it illustrates that it's not just AAS that can turn you into a slaphead
