    AAS and Nerve Problems

A few months ago my hand started to get numb in my pinky and ring fingers. I went to see a neurologist and they said it was a problem with a nerve in my elbow. He told me to take a few months off and come back and he would test it again. So here I am waiting for my elbow to get better.

My question is could this have been caused by aas use? Anyone heard of this before?

i have heard off carpal tunnel being brought on through the use of AAS, although i have not done a search to see if this has been studied.

I have been searching and it seems like carpel tunnel is pretty common among steroid use. Kind of scary. My condition was very similar to carpel tunnel except the compression was in my elbow as opposed to my wrist.

the carpal tunnel syndrome is especially associated with GH use.. is your case AAS related? Possibly... would eb interesting to see if this condition is more common in AAS users compared to ur natural BB.

It started a few weeks post cycle so I cannot be sure. Could be a number of things, martial arts, resting my elbow on my chair all the time (doc said this can cause it), lifting, etc. It just really blows.

I'd seek another cause, especially if it's only in one area and not along a nerve network, nor symmetrically related on the opposite side of the body (the other elbow).

Yup, all those could definately cause it. Has anything changed recently? Did it start during your cycle?

Started post cycle. I am just now getting the feeling back in my hand. Basically it felt like half of my hand was asleep permanately. Pretty freaky. Another week or two and I will start hitting the weights again.
