How can I check if my Var is real

I got some Var from my source. It's in cap form. It's supposed to be 10mg's. I trust him as I have been grabbing off him for ever. Never had any problems before. Also he is using this same stuff himself. But he's on so mush shit, he wouldn't know the difference.
Is there anyway to check it??
