no theyre barely over the normal range, except when ur 145, thats a lil high. but if its like 139 i wudnt worry. strokes happen usually at 180 i think.

Ya, and for some reason i always freak out a little bit right before i take my blood pressure so its probably lower then what it shows up at resting

i've ALWAYS been told that the bottom number of ur blood pressure is the one that is the most important. my average bp is like 135/90 but lately its been pushin 145-155/90-95 so ur diastolic looks fine and i wouldnt worry about the systolic jus yet but tahts from my experiences and what ive been told by my doctor. im not a doctor jmo

No you should worry about both bro...But you dont need BP meds bro...Its called whitecoat syndrome when you get a bit nevous when you're being checked....Now haro yours is on the high side...so keep checking it as you're doing bro.

this depends on many other things.. do u haev any other conditions that puts u in a risk group... if u have high cholesterol, diabetes or history of coronary events in the family etc then u should be on BP meds..

then I wouldnt worry too much about the BP BUT I would keep a close eye on it.. if it raises still then medication would be a good idea.... as far as to eliminate the white coat syndrome I suggest getting a measurement device of ur own.. ur borderline high BP warrants it by itself IMO.

The first figure being systolic is the rate of which your heart is pumping blood. It is normal for that to rise a little when using test and 139 is ok. The lower figure being the diastolic is what you should be most concernrd about when it reaches 90 and above. That is the pressure at which your blood flows in your arteries. Yours being 69 is very good and nothing to be concerned about. But you should get it checked weekly when taking aas. if the diastolic is 90 or above when you have not had any history of Bp probs is an indication of fluid retention

the pulse preassure is high which itself can be bad, it can mean many things.. high systolic and low diastolic can indicate sumin bad... u are oversimplifying frankie and the physiological explanation too is a bit iffy. I mean by that logic ur diastolic pressure would be the result when measured any pressure in arteries.. if that is the pressure blood flows to the arteries.. I mean pulse presssure and systolic pressure usually increase in the arteries in comparison to the aorta if I remember correctly. its the compliance of the vessel wall that determines the diastolic pressure...

Yeah, I agree. The point I was tying to make is that in the context of ass, It is more likely that his diastolic could be the result of fluid retention and his systolic in my experience is typical of ass.

Heck, being excited can raise your systolic, you know that

Hi guys. The top number is the systolic pressure (while your heart is squeezing) and the bottom number is diastolic (while it is relaxing) Both are important numbers.
Inclinez, your Bp is a little high but not worthy of medication. Especially if you are on a cycle, also a lot of people suffer from "white coat syndrome" which is where waiting-room anxiety raises your stress levels and therefore your Bp.
I noticed that your Diastolic pressure remains very healthy while your systolic pressure is elevated. This basically means that your heart is a very powerfull muscle and is smacking the blood around your body very efficiently. The only bad thing about this is that years and years of high Bp does put a strain on your blood vessels and cause them to thicken and lose elasticity so are therefore more prone to clots, strokes and heart attacks.
Keep an eye on it. You will not die of high Bp alone but it can cause other problems later in life.
Given your age, I would not prescibe you any anti-hypertensives unless your Bp is constantly around 170/100 ish, but that's just me. Other doctors may be different.
As I said, keep an eye on it, relax and if you need medication, so be it! a presription of diuretics would help you look dryer too.

When your diastole is normal or low and your systole is greater than 140 you are, technically diagnosable with 'isolated systolic hypertension' Its frequently seen in aged patients of mine but I see it a lot in AAS use too. There has not really been much research gone into this to my knowlege but I suspect that its due to a few things- Increased cardiac strength, beta wave stimulation and adrenal stimulation (testosterone tickles your adrenal glad and makes you produce more adrenaline.) All of these could cause mild cardiac palpitations and crank your Systole up a bit as well as the increased heart rate.

Keep your blood pressure at 120/80 or better. Better check your cholesterol as well. 139 or 145 is not cool. See a cardio doctor.
Your heart rate is a little high as well. They have pills that take care
of all this. I wish I had take blood pressure meds. Now I have 4 stents
in heart. Every thing is now under control for me. Pulse at 55 resting.
Treadmill with 8 lb weights for an hour. Don't ignore your Doctor.

it can mean many things but nothig to worry about in this case.. what is ur age? it can also mean that the elasticity of ur arteries is not good due to for example atherosclerosis and other conditions are also associated with high pulse pressure.... but like I said urs is still ok.. its probably as dr todd said..

Do you relax a few minutes and not talk when taking blood pressure. Hope
you are doing this your self. The RN's are shit for brains and always F up
my bp. I make them do it 4 or 5 times sometimes. Get a cuff and do it
your self. Remember to relax first. Keep it 120/80. Take a pb med it
need be or Hawthorne berry. Dont' listen to careless people.
