Mailing to myself from Mexico?

Does this work coming back? I'm headed to Mexico next month and was wondering if I can send MY 'PURCHASES' to my PO Box here in the states? Is that shit a good idea? I don't want to mess with getting it on a plane!

I've got a friend from Mexico and I asked him how feasible it is to do that, and he said that it wasn't a big risk, especially when you are going into the better cities there. If you are just going to a boarder town watch your ass b/c he says the cops and robbers alike will jack you for your stuff

that makes sense. I'm going to Cancun and see that as being a big problem. I've been several times, but never thought about picking up gear and mailing it. Does it make two shits if I'm mailing a few small packages to a POBox in the states? I thought I would buy 2 of everything I need and mail them seperatly in hopes that if a couple of things don't make it, the others will.

I forget where it is, but they mention something you write on the outside of the package so it gets through customs quicker. Might pick up some other tips, too . . .
