Why does it take 4 weeks for Test E to kick in?

When you inject a Test ester of any kind it will slowly be broken down by the body's esterase enzyme like this (TestE)------> (Test) + (E)

Each ester has a different rate at which this happens at.

So for Test E this rate gives us a half life of 6-7days, this means that if you inject 500mg it will take a week for 250mg of pure Test to be gradually realeased (and then excreted) into the bloodstream.


Since you take the same amount of drug each week blood levels will slowly rise as you are injecting faster then you are excreting.

Once blood levels are high enough the body will experience an increased rate of protein synthesis and all the other effects.

I'm asking for a friend. I told him "from what I've read it can take up to 4 weeks" so he asked why is that? I didn't have an answer and thought I would ask.

On 600mg of test e . I am starting to feel it now and i am in the middle of the 8th week.

it all depends It's a heavy estor .... 2-4 weeks kick in time ...... thats why ME LIKE PROPY kick start

Sure sounds like it huh? No, I'm waiting to see how my buddy does before I start my cycle. I still have more research to do and I'm kind of scared of the unknown. So talking with him and aksing questions makes me feel like I will be better prepared. Or maybe it is me.......

Its sucks man, im in week 5 of a test e cycle, was ready to pull the pin caus i thought my gear was bunk, sex drives been up for the last few days and starting to break out in pimples so hopefully thats a good thing, anyway just gunna have to ride it out see what happens... Or get a blood test

the maker should have no effect...unless he under or overdoses his gear.

Theoretically the make shouldn't matter.

You are right with the second one, its about how your body processes the drug and also how long it takes for your cells to make the changes they are being told (by the extra hormones) they should be doing.
