injection problem (maybe something serious)
ok guys....
recently i've been having some problems injecting with my Left delt only...all other shots / places go fine and i've lucked out with mostly painless
BUT
(i just finished) Yet another injection to my left shoulder... and there is quite a sharp pain when putting in the needle...i get by that...
After i'm done it swells out HUGE with most of my entire shoulder red and blotchy and the injection site has a hard white circle (kinda like a HUGE misquito bite). After a few hours the color seems to go back to normal but it's quite tender for a few days and the swelling doesn't go down....(kind of like having a marble until it get's better) It doesn't really bother me at that point but if i massage it it gets red and really itchy.
And out of the last MD there was a article from "priest" about an infection he got in his shoulder....although i don't think i have that it really made me think "uh oh" when i read it since it was sooo close to what's happening with me....
any info you could give is a help....I've already decided that i shouldn't inject that shoulder anymore, lol
THANKS AS ALWAYS IN ADVANCE BROS

right now i'm using 1inch 25g (tried this after using 23g)
I'm not injecting fast at all.... i always take my time and go slow and steady (if that makes sence)
i did my right delt tonight as well and you'd never even know i did a shot there (its that much of a difference)

also keep in mind that nerves run through the muscle And I know myself I have a nerve in my (R) delt that bothers the hell out of me ie swells . gets real red pain full .... So i just have to move the pin a little the rear delt is a big area .... So move the pin a smidge away... or put a slight AND I MEAN SLIGHT angle on the pin to avoid the nerve .... any this has help me But .. there are times I forget and when i inject i soon remember real quick

yes i've tried moving the pin slightly in different directions and it's always the same. This morning the color is normal and the swelling is down (although definitally still swollen) and my arm hurts to lift it

If thats the only muscle giving you trouble and you can't shoot around it then how about not shooting tha delt and picking a different muscle all together ?

Yes i agree (if you read my post i said that i wasn't gong to do that muscle anymore). I was just worried that maybe it was a similar thing of the gear in scar tissue not being absorbed... or something else?
Thanks again for everyones input

it sounds like some scar tissue to me. i usually develope some on my delts only late in my cycle, where it really hurts to insert.
just don't shoot that delt anymore till your next cycle, and see how that goes. keep an eye on it though that a lump does not develope and not go away.
