    DNP - "Expolsive"?

Does anyone know if DNP will trigger explosive checks/tests (dogs, scanners, whatever)?

"Expolsive"? - God I am an idiot.

i'm pretty sure that i read somewhere that dnp is still an ingredient in land mines and dogs are trained to sniff for it. just cause people have made it through airports before doesnt mean it isnt detectible. i wouldnt take any chances in an airport with anything even remotely associated with explosives.

They do have a database in the machines at the big airports. Also those ones that "sniff" the air for residuesl. Crazy shit.

Most of the detectors are just testing for nitrogen-based compounds. These can triggered by a lot of compounds including lawn fertilizer. Even if the test is positive, they'll just take you and bags for additional screening since what they're really looking for are bombs not chemical traces.
