im supposed to do a research paper for english at my university

im trying to go along the lines of
"how fast food is more unhealthy than steroids"
or
"how steroids can be beneficial"

does anyone kno of any places or books that i can use to research?

It could easily draw unwanted attention and/or suspicion.

However, if you still endeavor to do so you’d need to qualify the use of steroids by specifying adult males. And unless you’re really looking to do detailed research, I’d consider dropping the fast food comp/contrast, unless again you specify a demographic age group because it actually has varied affects.

Anyway, an easier focus would be “Are Steroids Really Harmful: Separating Hard Fact from Media Fiction”. Your report could be based on the video below, and it could even be shown to the class as supporting material.

Agreed... its brave to try but unlikeley youll suceed in educationg anyone, there are big budget campaigns against gear by the dept of healt/govt/athletics bodies... the list goes on... with friends like Valentino, juicing doesnt need enemies. Besides juicing is not the kind of thing you learn in a classroom, best learnt in the school of life. Infact you would be better off doing an anti-gear paper.

Hey I'm in grad school and im not sure what your looking for but you may need to look into scientific journals. These journals will have actually studies and data about things you may be interested in....These are the same journals I am reading and finding study after study that creatine shows no significant strength gains over a placebo groups...These journals are more reputable because not every Joe Shmo person who thinks they know shit about diet and workout can publish here....that usually get over 5000 enteries a year and only publish between 15-25

This is what I said the last time this topic came up. Raise the question in the facts you present...but I wouldn't go on a legalization campaign.

Present the facts in a manner that makes the smarter ones go "hmmm" and the dumber ones go "steroids are bad mmkay?"

why not do something like comparing steroid use to something else....all college kids drink...do the effects of a year of drinking vs a year on steroids on the human body...just don't make it seem like you are taking any sides

I think that woulod be a good comparison. Just try to stay biased and instead of just trying to prove it wrong, ask the question and answer it using facts.

If you notice when people bash things or have doubts, they never try to find answers...

HBO did a very good skit on steriods, they couldnt find anything bad to say about them as long as they were used on healthy adult males...
