    Dispose Of Needles

how do you dispose of needles correctly/safely the BEST WAY.?
put needles in bleach bottle, shake and throw in random trash?
would it be good or bad to write on the bottle, SHARPS, DONT RECYCLE.?
and in which states is the possession on neeldes/syringes legal?
    thanks!

I always use a sharps container and have it disposed off properly.

Its been a few threads about this.

Texas dont have a law against syringes but most pharmacies like walgreens, etc will not sell you syringes without a prescription. Its a company policy.

Remember that you can throw a way the syringe without the needle. If I did not use sharps container I would use a coke can. Throw away the syringe and put the used needles in the can. When its halfway full I would crush it so they would not come out.

buy a couple of sharps containers and just put the needle in and throw the barrel in the reg trash, then when its full drop it off in front of a clinic after they close.

I Do as my diabetic friend does..
I put the cap on the needle and then bend/break the needle inside the cap
that way is someone finds it, it cannot be reused...
I then just throw it in the trash....

I just use an empty protien container. When it's full i just make sure the lid is tight and throw it away with my trash.

Hospitals normally will take it for you. I put it in an empty protien jug, label it, and duct tape the lid shut. Then drop it off to the nurse at the hospital.

Someone could hurt themselves if it's thrown out with the regular garbage. The garbage man, or someone at the city dump could get stabbed with it.

BTW, I'm supprised that there have been no jokes about putting them in a school sand box, or something. Those usually acompany these types of threads.

There are specific biohazard containers, ment for needles to be disposed of. They are pretty cheap, and I'll probably use one of those for my next cycle instead of the protien jug.

Just take them down to the local park, or really anywhere that small children like to play, and scatter them around... works for me

Lol no thats horrible, just put them in a protein container and throw it in an industrial waste bin
