thats a no brainer... domestic is the safest but im sure its more expensive.. if ur international source is half decent at packaging.. u shouldnt have much of a problem...

Look at it this way ... Domestic your package goes basically from post office to distribution facility to distribution facility to post office to delivery address. International, the package can go from one or more countries before it departs for the US and in addition, if the departing to the US country has an agreement with US Feds it can be subjected to a listing screening -- that is the shipper may be on an alert list that would subject the package to screening. That's why some suppliers use transshipping to preferred departure countries to minimalize potential problems. If the package makes it on its way to the US, then guess what?? The first place it arrives is Customs!! Which would you prefer?

haha, i get the point. Just thought that maybe domestic sources(ugl's) are more of a fed-watching problem, cause the internationals don't care if its not illegal in their country.

If they are legit and give a piss about repeat business they will take precautions. The same with domestic suppliers, but they package in a manner not to raise suspicions. Also, US postal workers don't give a hoot about who is shipping the package, or who is receiving it, they could care less and hundreds of millions of packages are mailed each day within the US. I'm never concerned about domestic mailing, but then I know who I'm buying from.
