Both propecia and proscar are the same drug, they are intended to treat enlargement of the prostate and hair loss. The diff between the two is that proscar is 5mg as opposed to propecia with 1mg. I've only spoken with one endocrinologist and he stated that these products are okay to be taken with AS. Of course my family doctor (frowns upon coffee) said that if you stop taking this med, the effects would be reversed. I don't believe anything that comes out of her mouth though!
