You can but the real question is, should you. ANd to that, the answer is dependant on what your goals are.
Is drinking going to help you in any way ? No.
another reason not to drink on cycle is the following: if you have orals in the cycle, it's harsh for the liver. additionally if you drink alcohol you make it additionally harder for you liver.
theres so many threads on this do a search and youll come up with a ton of answers
I say drink. As long as you don't have any orals in your cycle. I don't see any proof of how it will hurt you in moderation other than increasing estrogen.Originally Posted by Buffman

i dont think you sniff my ass
drink if you want, but its best not too. you decide.
an example of why you shouldnt drink is foskamink's posts from last night, if that doesnt put you off lol
alcholol is catabolic ,,it totally goes against what your trying to do , when your bodybuilding
If you want to get the MOST out of your MONEY, TIME, DEDICATION, SWEAT, HARD WORK, etc don't drink when your doing your cycle..
Its definately counter productive and your body, liver, kidneys, etc are already going through enough at this point in time, why stress it or put it under anymore???
Whats the benefit of boozing while on a cycle? I'll tell you. Nothing...
But its your life. Thats just my opinion.
Risk vs Reward...
the only bennefit of drinking is the social aspect of it, yaknow going out having some drinks, humping chicks, i think it is ok only in moderation, once, twice a month. that is what i do and have not seen any bad effects on my cycle, but have had good effects on my love life. prop d!ck helps
How come you can't wait til your off? Its tough on your liver, hurts gains, and overall isn't worth it. Do what you want, but I would just wait until after. I guess it couldnt really hurt too much if you had a few maybe once on cycle.
I drink around 2-3 times per week. I drink pretty heavily when I do. I still have very good success in the gym. I'm pretty F'n big and I look good. I just make sure to stay on top of my cardio.
talking about estrogen from alcohol, steroids contain 50x more estrogen then alcohol if it converts. your liver drinking spirits and very heavy drink can be a concern for your liver but roids harsh it the most.
I think I can hear your liver crying.
Drinking while "on cycle" can hinder gains, and is very harsh on your liver.
True. If you are not dedicated enough, to not drink while on cycle, then you are not dedicated enough to run a cycle.Originally Posted by SHMIGS

I can go to a club and have a fvcking hay-day, all while drinking just ice-water the whole night.
If you feel you need to drink alcohol to go out and have a good time, then I think it's safe to say you have a problem.

Empty calories. Simple your body will not utilize any of the calories consumed that are alcohol to actually help repair muscle tissue or restore glycogen levels. Also it will hinder recovery from previous workouts and dehydrate you for the next days activities.
