how can u tell that u feel it in the kidney? the kidneys itself dont even feel pain as such... if I remember correctly..

Its not pain. I did ask the doc. he said he thinks it could be a "hose thing". he said if ur prostate is enlarged then it could press on ur urinary tract and make u feel like u have a urinary tract infection. and if it presses on ur large intestine he said there some ducts that would cause a chain reaction with the kidneys. he sai it also may be kidney stones. it was a long explanation, he showed me a pelvic diagram and explained it. I was just wondering if anybody else experienced that and how they dealt with it. my doc said drink more water.

Most people get kidney pain wrong. Your kidneys are pretty high on you back. About even with the bottom of you ribs.

and where ur kidneys are depends on ur height, also as explained by my doctor. wveryones organs are the dame size, even 4'8" lil phillipino gir. so when ur short, I'm 5'7".ur kidneys are slightly lower. u have to fit the same amount of stuff into a smaller space and its gotta go somewhere. and I personally know where my kidneys are cause I had surgery on one after a fight when I was 19. got hit with a nasty roundhouse and we thought it exploded. its about 1 inch above my iliac crest
