??? About acne, accutane and AAS

Ive been reseaching acne on top of AAS becuase i have major concerns of seriously breaking out during cycles. Ive learned that the main hormones that cause acne are androgens, and that means people with alot of acne have alot of androgens (I personally had cystic acne b4 i was ever on AAS). Now of course androgen is what the AAS bonds to and starts the muscle grow. First off, is my information correct with the surplus of androgens causing acne or is it that the body is producing more test causing interaction with the androgens....

Also i have a question about accutane. Accutane belongs to the family of medicines called retinoids, which are similar to vitamin A. Accutane, like other retinoids, works by altering DNA transcription. This affect decreases the size and output of sebaceous glands. now my big question is will accutane affect the effect of AAS, being that AAS binds to the AR (androgen) , travels to the nucleus makes the dimer, then binds to the DNA and starts to produce mRNA...

Has anyone been on accutane while on steriods ? did you notice anything differnt then when you were on a cycle b4?

    thanks for the help guys

I would run the tane pre-cycle or post-cycle. Reason being, I had enough sides to deal with as it was while I was on accutane several years ago. I wouldn't want to have to deal with that while on cycle, and not only that, many cycles contain orals, which would not be a good idea to run in combination with accutane due to the stress that accutane has been known to put on the liver.
If you choose to run the tane while on cycle anyway; will it have an impact on gains/results from the cycle? I don't know.

Thanks guys for the info. Not getting acne while on cycle was interesting. When i was 18 i had the worse acne, with the cists on my chest back and face. the scars healed and i look great i just dont want the crap coming back... Yeah and with the Sides of accutane it is a good idea not to use it during cycle even though it didnt effect me other then dry lips and some redness in the begining.... but thanks guys

It makes it worse before it gets better if you have a lot of acne "in the pipeline," about to come to the surface but is not yet apparent. If you're not getting pimples now, then presumably you have nothing under the skin about to pop out, so it won't get worse before it gets better. If your skin is fine NOW, accutane would only dry it out.

Proactive works great. I used accutane and the proactive has worked better for me.

Proactive is pretty good, I agree - but not if you have REALLY sensitive skin, then its too harsh
