Is it possible for the stopper to breakdown and chip off inot small pieces? When I drew up some Enth i saw a small iece of black something in there. So I drew up again and then I saw it again in another syringe. Could the stopper be falling apart? The only thing I could think of is that it is pretty cold here and maybe the temp change helps it to break down but seriously, it isn't that cold. ANy help? I have to toss the whole batch now? Sound like it huh.

what size gauge are you using?

20g. think it is chewing it up? It has only been stuck 3 times.

Try switching to a 22gauge.

couls swabbing the top with alcohol pads be breaking down the rubber? Anyhow, tossed the batch
But just want to not have this happen again with the next recipe. Thanks.

Absolutely is possible and happened to me. I guess I will just use a smaller guage next tiem and try to not suck them up before I inject. what are you thinkin of doin? Oh yea I have extra vials now! I am gonna switch em, i forgot about those......
