    Where to get blood test???

YO! I just called a few doctors offices to see about getting blood tests where they would just give ME the results - no doctors involved. They all say a doctor has to order the tests. What am I missing here? Are there labs or clinics that do this type of thing? Where the hell should I go? Even Quest Diagnostics won't do that. Anybody in Boston know a place? Thanks for the help.

So it's true then. Well, my doctor said he would do it, but it was an awkward conversation, so I'm not sure exactly how it would all work. I told him about AS and he wanted me to see a sports medicine doctor who might be experienced with AS and know what to look for, but I don't want to do that. I'm a newbie and my first cycle will be test e only, not that complicated. The reason I'm concerned about the blood tests is b/c I will be taking accutane - bought online, not prescribed. So, what's the process? Do you always get an appointment with him and see him, then he orders the blood tests? Or do you just tell him to order one once every 6 wks or whatever and go give blood and he calls you with the results? I'm just a little unclear w/ the process. Thanks for your help.

Wow, you really never seen a doctor before ??? Tell him you need complete blood work done, he will take the blood then send it to Quest ( or another lab ) they will send him the results, thats pretty much it.. Now if you dont have insurance be ready to shell out about 800 bills for Quest blood work results.. There is a thread on here somewhere that tells you excatly what needs to be tested.. I will do a search for you..

Hey guys, thanks a lot. Stuball, I looked for 2 f-ing hours for something like that thread, that's exactly what I was looking for. Thanks bro. 305, yea I would like to keep things confidential, but if it's really expensive I couldn't. My doctor said he'd do it, but he said I was putting him in a "sticky ethical/legal situation." I don't know why?? I think it's b/c I came to him before my cycle, so he has to advise against it. But if I came to him already on cycle, he would have to help - I think. Anyways, thanks for the advice, I appreciate it.
